TBH guys don't give a fek on the color. It's not for looks. the factory hoses are 20 years old and the last thing i need if i ever get back trackside is a line failure. Apparently the braided lines give good pedal feel? Interesting XES and CRU! Yeah price em up send me a PM or something. I have had the XF hardline adapted to the e-series (metric) fitting so i need factory lines off the EB to suit rear of my car. So sounds like about $80 a line is a standard price for these?

ummmm, Get a multimeter. and make sure the car is off. key off. Find the constant. So using a known good earth, find the 12V wire. This goes to the yellow wire of the headunit. Then turn the ign to accessories. Find the NEW wire that has 12V. this goes to the red wire on the headunit. Then turn your headlights on. and find the NEW 12v wire. This is the illum wire. Hook to usually a white wire if the head unit has a dimming function. CHECK YOUR MANUAL. Then get a AA battery and use it to find your left right rear speakers by connecting the battery to the remaining wires and listening for the "crackle" Make a new earth for the headunit, Run a lead to some body metal or an existing earth point and attach the earth there. Make sure it has good connection. <5ohm from neg lead of headunit to battery neg. -
Or alloy rocker cover and paper gasket. Cork gaskets are fkn hommmoooooooaaasssss.

Mint! It looks g-spec! Cherish it! Hard is relative. In comparison to just relocating the AFM. yep it was hard. In comparison to say, fitting a non factory engine like an ls1, Id say its eazy. I would say time consuming. I used a megasquirt which is a hands on ECU. less then $500 to key on. open the engine up to receive all the other engine related mods soo. Investment if you ever plan of staying EFI 4.1 and making any decent power.

Fixed!

You cannot bypass it, it meters the fuel. you have to either keep the AFM and just put it inline, Or, what i have done, fit an aftermarket ECU and use MAP fueling instead of AFM. and YES! That is a FKn SEXUAL baby blue (horizon blue) XF. Jelly? =P not a burnout. I was getting the flat spots off the tires... Yep.

NO, it means get the fuck out =P

Also, If you don't have the clutch PERFECTLY lined up, you can get it together still but it can be a 4 hour CU*T! the same extension bar i used to drift out the spigot. I put it back in the spigot with enough tape so it sits in nice and square. Then make another layer of tape there the clutch will sit to center the clutch plate on the extension bar. then semi bolt it together and use a metal rule, measuring in 4 points around the housing from the extension bar to either the clutch fingers or the housing lip. Get it within a millimeter so all 4 measurements are the same. +-1mm. bolt it together. then fit it. Having the clutch centered is paramount to make it mate up as easy as possible. The only other thing that will stop it is the spline teeth no mating up. If this is a problem put it in gear and spin the tailshaft which in turn will spin the input shaft and line the splines up. if it turns and locks, its likely the splines have engaged. (of your back wheels are on the ground, Lawl.

Here's an idea. For this though you'll have to install the AFM inline, in the pipe. and run a pod filter behind the LH headlight.

Once you get the original head unit out, keep the brackets. I cut these up and rivet them onto the head units cage. You'll have to remove the clamp thing at the back for clearance, otherwise it is likely the headunit wont sit all the way back. Good luck. -
Sorry i had too. Im excited. ... and it's bedtime.

I use grease. Jam it full of grease. Get a 3/4 drive extension bar and wrap elecky tape on it till it fits snug in the bearing inner race. Then bash the extension bar in with a hammer and the pressure will force the bearing out.
