    Cheers guys I think ill go that way then its gonna cost about 1600 so full mandrel so I think thats pretty good, Nzxd 3in single sounds good man what engine mods are you doing? The main reason im going twin 3 then twin 2.5 omi is pretty big but in future if I want to put a supercharger on with low psi that exhaust should hold up nicely as the same system im using has been proven on 1000hp + xys so my 550 isn't going to worry it. Edit: and gerg i really like the DeFillipo systems on the later generation v8s like our ba xr8 utes gtps ect.. they have a very nice crisp note.. to give the idea. just my oppinion ay

    sounds like some good fruit there ando ^^^^ well im really stumped as in what to do with it then im kinda falling down the twin 3in with X pipe twin magnaflow mufflers with twin 2.5 over diff, sound good

    yeah good point rob i will have to go some calculating on engine/ cyclinder volume x conbustion to exhaust volume maybe? wheres ando's two sence worth ?? haha all the more opinions the better for all of us.

    Yeah good point bro I wont fit twin 3 out the drivers side tunnel will i unless its close to the ground.

    Yeah im not sure its a twin 3in till diff the twin two and half out back do you think that will be right rob ?? Did you see the link above on the esp ?

    yeah there close but if the secured properly then they should be right, well i rang them there $2200 for fuel system in mufflers the lot so reasonabley priced id say.

    Mmm.. good input guys thats something for me to think of no i dont have a fuel sell and being the ghia its got the 75l tank so no room pass side for pipe either so looks like out the back how much can i fit next to spare wheel arch?

    Well guys give ford a ring with the details and I wont know for a few days as there system is down and things are expected to take upto a week so ill just sit tight and wait wont hurt to find out all the options anyways

    Hey fellas just wanna know whats the best way to id a xd esp fairmont ghia I know xe esps but xd is quite difficult and can't seem to work it My mate has a xd fairmont ghia needs some body rust repaird on inner pillars of doors usual spots Its original 302 auto he wants 1200 if its a esp id say cheap providing the condition.

    Hey guys im about to repaint my ghia in the next few months and was wondering can you buy new body moulds ( the ones on doors ) if not can you get them re ferbed as the clear and chrome has faded on mine as they do. I never had moulds when I painted my maroon xf so never looked into it but when I redo ghia I want them back on Cheers guys hopefully someone has the answer im looking for.

    Na probs not now the beers have settled mate na the in tank set up properly sounds the go how do I ho about chasing a pump and fitment ?
  18. Hey guys just wanna know the performance off stock efi xf fuel pump from my ghia Will it run a stock setup barra xr6 turbo motor or not only stock, if not ill just run external 044 and use standard efi pump as my lift pump to surge tank maybe?? Cheers guys any help would be appreciated
  19. hey guy Jake here made the switch from xfalcon, im currently about to do the eb ed conversion into my xf ghia running the eec4 setup my query im stuck on is what needs to be changed in terms of computer and wiring from the xf eec4 to the ed eec4 i have the hole ed car and im aware about the smartlock and have the chip to fix but not sure in terms of plug and play i was hoping i could just swap a few plugs here and there in the bay and the ed computer to my original loome or does the entire loome need to be change please help guys as this is the only thing holding me back from the change over im going to be running the 4sp manual on t5 bell as well a 6 to 12 months low boost but just need to get in and running for now thanks guys cheers regards Jake

    thanks REV how well do the au heads flow in terms of stock?? compared to the ed head, will be building bottom end very soon ( after the Christmas rush ;S ) will be building that to suit good psi in all figures, but in terms of top end how far are the au heads safe, will be aiming for around 14-16psi when all in tuned but dont want to push disaster buy winding up the boost without knowing the limit. im guessing stock head would be good for 8-10psi ?? will get around to getting a head done but can only take one thing at a time. ( morgage over powers play toys unfortantly )

    Thanks for the reply thom. That's some good fruit for thought will take a good look into that au head might save a bit of messing round was reading somewhere on the forum might me you the around 4kg lighter to ?? And the 4 sp is only gonna be temp for a few months till I get a t5 in health hasn't been real good so don't have alot of cash till im back a work in few weeks will get a t5 then and hopefully chase a 3.45 diff to.

    thanks for that REV thats sorted it all out now so sounds like a piece of piss really very strait forward then will make things alot easier then trying to get the bloody ed wiring in, will get the ea2 loome then drop donk in and few hours and few beers pissin about should have it running. mine is efi eec4 has efi tank so thats a bonus how much boost can you run on the ed motor in terms of senses and crap like that with out the computer tripping out? and how well is the flow of the standard xf efi fuel pump when it comes to boost? 5-6psi?? of course i will need a rising rate fuel pressure reg just unsure of stock pump flow. thanks for the help guys much appreciated
