have a look at where i ran mine - semi legal out of the boot ish - fuel tank >> lift pump (sits on rear diff mount) >> run line to surge in the passenger exhaust exit - plans are in my build thread i did make it a bit shorter though >> return line back to tank from surge >> surge to regular at the front >> return to front to surge >> so when the surge fills up it returns to the tank -- havent had an issue at yet (also put a drain plug on the bottom of the surge best thing i did )

whats everyone's opinions on the charcoal canister ? i haven't run one for awhile, is it able to be deleted? is it a bad idea? i know the theory behind them it takes gas's from the fuel etc - is anyone running a smaller one ? its big and bulky and would prefer it out of the bay
-
i went to repco and got a 180 degree i think it was ? cost me 80 bucks on trade, the normal 160 one is about 40 bucks .. both for a cleveland
-
another option is to get a louder exhaust? i cant hear my pump running with the motor on
-
you could cut the top of the current XD tank and get the XF EFI pump housing (larger housing) plastic welded and sealed ? would be the easiest and most "legal" option then cutting up the floor and if its done right would be hard to tell it was ever done - never had it done but im assuming it can be done ?
-
inregards to the legal side - no fuel in the boot unless its 100% sealed off from the cabin, aka block off from the rear seat backwards not sure if having a drop tank makes this legal ? in vic they are very unhappy with a fuel cell - speaking to a guy about a drop tank for mine if you get hit up the ass and its not engineered your fked - unless the tank design is engineered i spose cant get just anyone to make one - i got a quote for one for my xe awhile back was around 3k for 80L (obviously didnt happen due to price) if noise is the main issue - does the car have full sound dynamatt to quiet it down? i could barely hear my old holley blue mounted under the car
-
try dellow - i got my t56 from them
-
thanks for that ! im looking at a VE one to put at the rear of the car some where they are very compact
-
way i did mine 0 gauge front to rear, goes into a dist block in the front then into the motor, i had to run an upgraded wire to go to the starter motor otherwise would take a few turns to kick over, other then that worked perfect - i ran mine through the cabin
-
for 0 gauge, you could use a distribution block ? thats what i did on mine
-
awesome thats what i was hoping to hear thanks mate - fuck mother nature i got solar panels it evens out the trees i kill
-
has anyone upgraded any fuel pickup points in a XE carby - i need to run a 1/2 pickup, thinking might be best to modify the current sendor to keep to the current gauge and insert a 1/2 metal line with intank filter ? anyone done anything different? any ideas would be great
-
i installed my relays under the centre console, you only need to tap into the wires that go to the door, the location doesnt matter
-
thanks for that, i might take them both down and see if they can do that, would be easyer
-
has anyone run a hydraulic master cylinder which is larger then that standard PBR unit ? if so where did you get it ?
-
had a call around etc pbr only makes one size due to the weird offset i need 3/4, ive run the standard before but i think would be better running the larger size, best way from my reading is to make an adaptor to run a straight up and down mount which shouldnt be to hard to knock up

i had issues with my netural switch, i had to pull it off and spray with degreezes (a shit load) then blow it out with air, was full of 20 years of road gunk

im running global west upper + lowers, with a shelby drop and RRS caster kit, and RRS strut (i know one of the other guys got a mustage caster kit and it didnt fit, thus going RRS (still havent driven on it yet, but should be amazing ) -
i ran a t5 out of a ef xr6 behind my 351 clevo for years and not one issue, if you respect the box it will be fine, if you thrash it like a idiot it will break, dellow for the bellhousing then sort out the hydralic clutch, the fuel bill went down massively with only changing that. well worth it
-
im running a 25 or 28? the biggest one the make for xe and huge difference, combind with lowering = no more boat

Mustang front suspension comparable with falcon?

As for the Camber bolt tube, I know the XD is different to XF, but I dont know which the XE is the same as. XD is smaller, you will have issues my XE i had to get the GW lower arms bushes drilled out (heaps of meat left on them, only need a few mm taken out, emailed GW and confirmed can be drilled, and redrill the camber plates to fit the XE style (same as XF ) bolt size
