gonzo would be another guy to talk to, he did the pipes in sevos TD garrys TE both those cars did 11s before 2000 most dont know about them as garry has kids and does not play much and stevo sold his and went back to a V8 his engine is still going around in a little red TD XLE runs low 12s and is a street driven car that runs on 98fuel that being said they did not make there pipes as most say they should be. most talk about long primerys and short seconderys all these pipes are the other way around mine are 1 7/8 off the port into 2 1/4 seconderrys and 3 inch colector and a so long they finnish under the drivers seat and i ran a 3inch system and a hooker centre offset it was noisy that for sure but very good gains over the genies and 2 1/2 that was under there it was like 15 18 rwhp over the 2 1/2inch one with no tuning ask ken if you can copy his pipes? they must work

log engines are landfill no power heads are puss and there landfill i said that twice for a reason it will push a falcon leave it and learn to be slow. they are not worth wasting coin on gaskets paint and drive for as long as it will go for i used to kick around with a guy that had a 250 2V with all the bells on it in a little corty my $2 crossy would blow it senceless

move closer people down here in country vic need a shop that 1 dont rape people and 2 can do the porting jobs not (arr it not a stock engine we dont want to touch it ive used most of the shops out here now and still have not found one that give a ship im not a know all but i do know what it is i want good luck chin up and i know how you feel ive had people knock back my old engines and payed more for a engine that makes less numbers and just dont work. i fitted up a car with a engine a while ago but offered my old one (said i have this engine it want 14.0 in my own car all fresh not run since rebearing and i want $2500 tuned complete and making 220rwhp thru a auto with dyno sheets) he did not want it instead got a shitter that had all this work and lasted him 100km before needing a rebuild one thing you learn when you pay for work is to find somone to do good work. ive seen so many people do shit work charge the earth and it all needs redoing 10 seconds later. i did a cortina like this a few years ago he got stung everywhere he went in the end i did the whole car cause i felt sorry for him

would like pictures yes ideas in picture form are always good yes i have to paint it ive been putting up with it but it needs doing low mount yes matt i dont know why these are so high my turbo is the highest part of my engine by heaps

but how much total does it have? thats the thing 10 static and about 30 total so you can go to about 35 then the static will be at 15 put it in and then run it up with a timing light if it goes past say 30 it may not be right running on with not always be timing related plug range and tune will play a part

i had tru fit in the dummydore and never liked the way it fit but have knox in the 3 cortinas and the ute and i thort it fit real well get the plush not loop and dont get super plush unless you wnat to loose stuff its think as carpet is not a good fit if theres not good underlay just a little baggy around the tunnel look in the ghia and the ute threads you can see carpets in one of the cortys and the ute

good read this my cortina has a cast manifold on it and the wastgate on 1 side of the manifold its on 18 psi and makes 250killer wasps on a almost stock engine so they must work ok it does boost creep a little but bye wes

4.11 diff gears and a full exhaust will get it moving after that a bigger camshaft althow none of those mods will cost under $500 each if you have to pay somone

hey guys im back into the new motor for my ghia and this engine was allready built for somthing else it had 21cc ACLs in it i worked out my comp and its to high for the 16 psi i now run so i did think id just sell it but its a good motor still brand new and i only hae to change the pistons for it do to what i want it to so leads me to ask how much boost will a cast slug hold before it fails im just looking at a ball park these are cheap and will fit straight into my motor what you guys think? or ACL 28cc slugs?
