id get a wizzor C4 but you can still bolt the crossy bell to the clevo c4 input shaft older c4s where 24/24 in there input shaft and later ones 24/26 either run a 24 spline convertor or swap the input shaft and run a 26 spline convertor

drag only 4litre and a 250 shot of NOS would be cheap racing and go easy mid 12s with a little track time and the engines cost $250
-
just a windmill and valve springs could see 300hp just boost the fooker and get a c4 my bw40 lasted 4 seconds when I boosted mine
-
sounds like a binn job come here and grab a ringer from under the bench theres I think 18 to choose from about 5 are 29cc slug jobbys
-
get a shop to do it you can just use the rods there on but balancing it may be a issue but if its boosted you don't have to rev it so you don't have to do it just depends how hard your wanting to push it
-
in saying that I may have a set of +30 slugs ill take a look if you don't here back PM me I may forget
-
The bigger dish ACLs are 29cc run the hone some crazy stuff can clean up just run a set of gauges down the bore to make sure your not going to far, if you don't have a bore guage you can use a Tguage and messure off that a cheap set of them will be about $35 and worth there weight in gold good score on the C4 I got a few last week to can never have to many to smash

was the tune a little poo for it to lift the top of a piston? I did that to a holden 6 some time back we put it down to tune or a cast piston cant do 7500 rpm
-
Thom wheres the rest of the piston? is that the stock engine you use to rev to 6000+ to much NOS I think
-
you will also be happy to know oil holes in the cranks are micro polished HAHAHA
-
450 550 horse is stock stroke land althow most strokers will do 50 to 80ftpounds more then a 351 so more TQ to push a big fat falcon
-
PROpain is taken im just a fan of cheap stuff and theres steps you can take to keep it together like getting a clevo or boost HAHA can run 10s with a 3k clevo
-
I ran a set of shitter pistons in a engine that did 238rwhp and it lasted years and I turned that engine so hard it used to shake everthing off it I gave up when the flywheel cut the car in half I will ad the engine was still going LOL a stock rod will do 6500 with a set of bolts,,,, or without LOL yes ive done it and the rod did not leave it was a valve arr crossy just boost it stock pistons no revs and all TQ
-
word of advice is buy and fit up your wheels first fit them under the car with some messurements you will know it will sit centre and you know how much to the MM what to take out of it cortinas there diffs are made off centre from the factory its not much but every mm counts when you want big wheels
-
I do a lof of borgys for cortys and made a jig its just 4 machined up dies that fit into the housing 2 in the center and 2 on each drop saw the ends fit the dies in and stick a tube up the guts to line it up and weld it back together I charge $1000 to do a case and axles or $800 more with strange axles
-
car will also have legs like that if yours is anything like beacons it will run out of legs real fast with 3.7s me id fit a auto 2500 stall and then you have a fast car
-
fit a set of 2.9s the engine will pull them as the car weighs nothing 3.7s in a car that light will just be a tyrer fryer I did this for street racing years ago and you can maker the engine drag itself down that it will not blow the tyres away chrises beacon does the same thing yours does you can stand on it at 60 and it will just stand up and go sidways is it fun? yes will a pushbike arse hand it yes. the 510 camtech is not super big it will still have heaps of lower end power just if you rave feed the clutch out at 2500 3000rpm and jump on it
-
street or track? track fit a set of MT ETstreets that will bounce it out of the box hold on to the 25spline diff HAHA
-
Cats out of the bag good to see blown and 6cyl in WA I can put 2 and 2 together its going to be nuts
-
you have not started it swap it for a crow 214 214
-
tell you what 207 would be a ok turbo cam if the lobe centre is suitable
-
in the corner of the enginebay where the battery is theres 4 relays I think it will be that
-
fit a 214 214 crow or 218 camtech I think anything under a 214 is to small even for a trailer puller work ute and it will make no power and not much more TQ then a stock cam a 214 will still work with no convertor and stock gears but anything more you do does heaps for them ive done 170rwhp out iof a 214 one on a dead stock engine with 10.5 to 1 it would rip a tree out of the ground and was flat on its bum at 4600rpm my thorts only but ive done a fair few that 170hp one even went 14.5 in a corty with stock gears and convertor
-
have you picked a cam? what you running?
-
Don't need studs or rollers for boost you don't need cam you don't need revs well unless you want to run 8s and still be a ok streeter I fit rollers to anything past 510 lift it makes the valve train last for ever and yes just boost everything "that's what I was trying to say" rob missed the point I was trying to make LOL althow I am with his good valve train and rev the fooker out of it HAHA
