Have not had a chance to chase any up atm .. Have been running arround trying to fix my young bloke up with another car . Found him an awesome low k " 180 tho ",,,straight , rust free 92 xf ute , p/s ,cruise cont , air/co..on gas, fresh rebuilt head ,new tyres on eb fairmont wheels ,reset springs " had a slide on camper on it " and a whoppin tow bar ,,for sub $2000 .. And the bloody kid don't want it ..!

Bit of a follow up on this. . After running around Hobart to find a boss kit ..I found a stockist of saas kits ..auto one .. Only had one sort of the bk132L ...the L being the long option . But on comparing it to what I have on the ute .....its the same bloody depth ...,?!? And being the long weekend ..no good trying to ring the mainland to confer .. So said thanks for the help , and just about made it to the door .. Young bloke behind the counter called out ... " hey mate ...just remembered we have one of these ..." An adapter/extension Happy as Larry ....even tho the cost was near the same as a new boss kit . Has allowed me to bung the larger sporty wheel on and can now see the gauges .. And a tonne of room between the wheel and indicator and wiper stalks ... Maybe a bit too much room ... Will get a mate to machine it down a bit with the lathe .

Hi all .. What saas wheel boss do I need to suit a flat autotechnia wheel . At the moment I have a rather comical Luisi wheel that is tiny ...like a Xbox size wheel . I have the autotehnia wheel ...but the boss kit on the ute is for a dished wheel ....there for ..the new wheel sits near right on the indicator and wiper stalks ... Need a flat wheel boss .. But reading saas spiels shows xf only to 88 " sedans /wagons ..etc Anything there on is ea . Then no correlation to either dished wheel or flat .. Any help pointing me in the right direction will be received with great appreciation .. Cheers

cheers for the help .. i have to go back into hobart tomorrow as it is to pick the pitman arm up .. nothing to whip into the tool mart to grab a socket .. still get the auto joints scratching their heads with ,,,," what ,, a 92 model xf ,,,,,,, must be xg/xh ,, stops xf at 88 on here mate ,," least the poor ol xf will have a full boot of new front end .. tie rods ball joints idler arm pitman arm caster bush rubbers shocks , and the shock saddles " with grease nipples " will give it a birthday with a new sporty wheel as well .. ruddy thing wont know what hit it ,,, will steer , rather than float about ..

Tried the shifter ...but the only shifter with jaws big enough , is too long and fouls the cat converter or the body .. That and the shape/curve of the arm its self inhibits any swing you may get .. Tried at all steering angles/locks I don't want to round it off trying ..

Hey mate .. Have tried a 32 ..almost ..but won't go on .
