Got my spoiler today, needs restoring. Hope to be getting stuck back into the corty around February
-
Can anyone confirm weather these are multi fit or not? I thought they were different, say falcon to corty had a different leveling bush or whatever its called. Cheers

From the description I'd say the flexplate bolts have come loose.

Hi Thanks for the detailed reply, maybe I should read build threads more often. I have a six in mine. I was considering using a cable. Was thinking I could get a replacement one for a b and m shifter or similar, make a couple of brackets, job dun. Do you think there is any reason why I couldn't use a cable?

This is my diff spreader, over night in the freezer shrinks enough to drop in. Only gears that will go on the 2.77 carrier is 2.77 -
Rick this is what you want, I think they are called acorn wheel nuts, yes same thread as commo.

Rack back together , cut sone sheet metal for a shim Now to open this up
-
This week only got half way through rebuilding the rack, went to slam it back together this morning but needs some more shims on the pinion. Looks like I'll be heading to the local self serve wreckers this week for shims.

. about all I did this week was straighten this and filled some holes in the engine bay. The metal was stretched so was a bit of a pain.

So I've been concentrating on getting the t5 to fit without cutting into the hump. First I fitted a mustang extension housing, didn't just drop on. Found the issue, it was fouling on the 5th gear. After some grinding got it to fit. Before and after. Now looks pretty much the same at the falcon with the same depth. Made some engine blocked and pulled the motor forward about 25mm, still need to clean them up. Plenty clearance between the water pump and radiator . This is where the shifter comes through now. Picture taken with box in 4th gear, will be trimming about 20mm off for I bit more clearance .

Colour will be the colour it left the factory, monza red.Yeah, happy i got the material. Got it from a guy that read a thread about the seats. Apparently his grandpa had it in his shed. Didn't come cheep. ebay ,i wasn't the only one who wanted it.

Will it be a issue using multi groove valves short term with a solid cam? I have crow locks and retainers fitted , basically just want to run in the cam in before I pull the motor down.
-
Looks better in pictures. Paints bubbling/cracking in some places. I do like how it looks now and when I start to prep the body I'll be thinking should should I really do this. I would like to see it looking like it did when it left the factory being 1 of 500 made.
