go back to the stores and tell them a competant parts interpreter can find them in under a minute and they should go work at maccas lol
you have 2 options
1) Nice products, available threw any auto store, see attachment
2) Bullfrog on ESPGHIA makes them himself, my last set i got in black for about 120 a set i think

doubt its in an aftermarket manual but would be in a genuine manual, no manual needed though really, pretty simple process
-
im pretty sure xd/xe are one style and xf-ed maybe even ef el etc are the other style

buy a new sun dial gear off ebay and pull apart your speedo, there is a soft plastic (cheese) gear that is an attempt to be an anti tamper gear but over time they disintegrate
-
i think some brands are worse then others, or maybe just some tanks, my APA unit is fine, but my old unit which i forget what brand it was did it occasionally
-
they are hit and miss with supply, i sell a few hundred a month and some all from the same suppliers, some come in sealed, the next week they come in greaseable, really annoying when a customer requests a certain type as you can never gaurantee supply
wasp i found to be more oftern then not greaseable but who knows these days, i last looked into it probably 2 years ago
-
was it the proper greaseable stuff or the newer sealed units?
-
MOOG out of a Mercury is the BEST you can get, you just cant get them here
trw/555/roadsafe paja are the best in aus at the moment, Wasp is a close 4th, for cheap stuff they have been good, trw and 555 are getting hard to find, roadsafe is available almost anywhere
most of the time i use roadsafe

very common lpg problem, if your lucky and have it open the rear seat hatch and run the AC for a while before you drive to the servo
-
oh cant forget the ESP Castor rods

The ONLY way to guarantee is to:
RING 13FORD
or
EMAIL: customers@fordcrc.com.au
You will need proof of identity and proof of ownership, so probably have to get your mate to do it, Scan your drivers licence and a copy of the rego papers and attach them to your email
If it has these its a pretty good hint that its an esp but never a guarantee
Red illumination on the instrument cluster & auto quadrant ,tramp rods, all stainless trim painted black, globe wheels, Marshal fog lamps and bilisteins

yeah i read some bronco stuff about using the gm pumps no worries but same deal
-
if it helps, i couldnt find it tonight but didnt spend to much time on it but there were a few aussie suppliers like N.A parts that im pretty sure used to sell a chrome body that you reused your own internals for

Any thoughts on compatability Cav?
normally id play it smart and check all the parts manuals and genuine manuals i have for both ford and holden models but i blew up my computer and am yet to recover my hard drive sorry
-
If the saginaw is the teardrop one.. i got one off of an EA , 6cyl. they are the same internally .. the bracket was different , so to change that u gotta take the pulley off with a special puller, i cannot remember if the fittings were in a slightly different location or not though
arnt the pumps from e series a higher pressure designed for steering racks?
-
the only company i know who could potentially make them is retro rods custom sheet metal but there website and catalogue is down unfortunatly
from my experiance though these sized panels are too hard to make, nobody other then major manufacturers have the press's large enough to produce such a panel
-
the only skins i know that are still available are NOS tailgates
i havent got it yet but i have a new fibreglass boot being made at the moment and they also do bonnets, from alfa fibreglass
-
the rear seals fit fine, they better, i made em lol, and yes you should use a proper non hardening windscreen sealant with it

So all i did was confuse myself lol, thats 5 different fans just across xd xe let alone xf which i cant find my catalogue for at the moment
the clutch fan part numbers are even harder, 4 different part numbers accross xd xe not including xe v8 and the dates they apply to dont match up to the dates on the fan blades lol
Mr Polson, XTREME KARTS XF and Ando81 reacted to this -
in saying what i did i only ever researched that for xf, maybe xe are different, time to dig out the parts manuals
