Another issue i have found.. throttle cable is to long.. <br /><br />And the top rad hose doesnt really work, i am maybe thinking of getting a different radiator as it currently runs an au rad<br /><br /><br /><br /> -

Still no luck? Working for me! I am unsure weather to try to turbo it straight away (which means more car doing sweet fa while i fab headers) Or buy some hurricanes for 600,700,800?$$ just so i can drive the car around.. -

Damn so i get just pacemakers that suit my xb they have a different part number? Or do you mean aftermarket eb ones will work? I have the starter motor on the drivers side and i have the same starter from the 351/c10 combo Im not sure if that changes anything though I have bought these with the intention to turbo the motor.. single gt4088 It is gonna be a long hard road if i want to keep the aircon and keep it all under the bonnet lol -

Ok so the igniton box wont work with the crank trigger stuff like i wanted it to Had it running today with basic wiring in place and no cooling system ect ( just wanted to hear it run) The headers foul the starter on the drivers side.. I need headers that Dont dump down so close to the motor.. At the moment i can only get 1 bolt in the starter and the collector basically points at the solonoid lol Its got standard ltd type extractors on it at the moment Is there any off the shelf sets i can buy? A mate had a set of lukey extractors for an eb xr8 and they looked like they would work.. Unsure though -
I had alloy ones and they never broke even with it wearing off in a few spots from bottoming out.. A cro mo one wouldnt be that expensive to get made if you are worried?

Hi guys i am trying to find a wire that will let me trigger a relay so that when the engine is on , the relay is , even when just cranking I am not sure how to go about it without having a wiring diagram or manual on hand? the oil pressure switch would be the opposite to what i want as its only on when low oil pressure ? I did use the red coil wire but because of the pulses it diddnt work, it just went bezerk lol anyone got any simple ideas on where i can get some +12? -

I would but i am using it to bypass the headfkuc that is with the current LPG wiring , and rewiring the lpg system Atm it works on petrol, but doesnt work when flicked onto gas. Just gonna get an auto elec mate of mine to rewire it for me -

So basically want Car off > Circuit open Car on/Cranking > Circuit closed Not sure which wire on the alternator to splice into ill have to have a look tommorrow -

its a 1993 dc ltd! with the 5.0 in it -
IMO if i had to do that , i would have had someone weld lugs onto the gearbox itself , and drilled holes in them, so you could use the factory bellhousing holes.. Is your toploader bellhousing the normal bellhousing, which is the same as a single rail ? AFAIK they diddnt need so many mods?

A guy i used to work with gave me some good advice Put the lock on the fronts if your running a manual > Clutch in > Foot on brake > Lock fronts > Foot off of brake (Rears are unlocked , fronts are locked with the brake on) > Dump Clutch > Skids > Turn line lock off > So thats what ill be doing lol

Why is it that they lock the cams ? with an msd box, the laptop one and a carb it would still run fine id assume?

114 hp per litre LOL 5.0 windsor is 220 hp = 44 hp / l 5.4 boss 260 = 64 hp /l yeah and thats not even upping the boost over factory lol

I thought that about the 5.4s . but ebay and wreckers , you still cant get a motor for any decent price ! easier just to buy a brand new one lol why cant they be as cheap as an ls1

afaik the actual brake lines dont run the same as an earlier e / x series in the ef onwards type cars they are 2 flex brake lines from the body to the car instead of 1 that splits on the diff -
If it feels good atm, id leave it ? i have always thought the steering on my xb was as good as any of the xfs i drove, if not better ive got bf xr8 brakes on my xb , standard uprights ect. unbelivable stopping power lol

VPW have em , aeroflow or proflow i cant remember , for 106$ any anodized coulor pretty much..

apart from the coulor difference, that looks like my xceedy 1000$ clutch lol. I will give this clutch kit a go next time i think ive only heard good things from sunbury brakes!

Lol the bird who rego inspected my 5.0 nc on thursday brought out an inspection camera, sussed the drivers side, looked puzzled, walked back inside lol Now i know why

What manifold is it? Did ure machinest mock it to see if it fits 100%? Sometimes they need machining if uve decked the block and heads -
