  1. I was unsure of what i was going to do, that would be why you were confused To clarify there are two senders i will mount 1 in the block, just before the tstat housing. Which will be connected to the Guage/thermo switch (the switch has a reading on it) Link = http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/290567953863?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 1 in the bottom hose , For the seperate guage. So i can then tell water temp As it sits now , i basically dont need the thermos to be on at all when im doing ~60kmph+ but when im in traffic. after a min or two. the engine temp starts going up. so the thermos arnt doing their job.. I think a higher amp alternator might help. but if i dont have a guage on there i wont really know I have to run a hall effect speedo pickup. due to it having a tr6060 so i might even try to buy a switch that will turn the themos off above 70-80kmph
  2. Ive fitted it here. There was already a cut in the hose, so that made it easy I am running the temp sender for the guage from the block at the moment I am yet to hook up the thermo fan controller. There is 1 more rad hose/adaptor on its way that im going to run in the bottom hose The controller for the fans will display the temp of the block or top hose. not sure the guage will display the temp from the bottom hose so i can sus weather the thermos are efficent Car seems to sit dead on 80c when moving more than ~50kmph Would that mean i have a 80c Themostat in there? At the moment the themos run flat out, i do have a manual switch, that i turn off when im starting , and in cold morings leave it off untill the car gets up to temp
  3. Im gonna just run a breather i think , would a check valve and linking it to the exhaust work at all? Heads---> catch can --- > check valve at top --- > zorst?
  4. I have Just finished up with the run in oil in my clevo and im wondering what weight and brand oil to use? i want to use penrite HPR but the HPR range seems way way to thick? It has HPR GAS 60w in it now.. but the pressure seems way to high 70+ ? The car runs on straight lpg I put the thick oil in there because the pushrods were not hardened, which caused them to wear and clog the oil filter, causing oil pressure to drop, causing me to buy the thickest oil i could find lol I would like a 10w30 but penrite seem to only make 40-50-60-70w oils in the HPR range?

250 pre Motor, Electronic Dizzy Conversion

Not sure what you mean? motor is a pre crossflow in the tc cortina i am referring to lol So you pull a crossflow one and convert it ? got pics?
  6. Sounds like it would work, although i dont have the eccentric drive-thing on the cam anymore as the motor is straight lpg lol I think i will run 1 catch can, 1 hose from each rocker, with one hose going to the other rocker, then a t peice , then to the can, with a breather on top, tap on the bottom and some small tube running down onto the 'ground' do i need to have fully welded/sealed fittings on the rockers or will gromets/decent seal work?
  7. i think ill go with hpr or hpr gas , more than likely the thinner of those oils , it has 60w penrite in it and the guage reads 72 psi at idle lol Is there anything wrong with the cheaper-named-brand oils out there? shell/valvoline/nulon/ect? i will be dailying this car in the future and 8.5L of oil every oil change tends to make things very expensive do they lack the extra zinc or ?
  8. they were new but they wernt hardened .. <1000kms and they were fkd to the point i could hear them tapping on the guides i wasnt originally going to go roller rockers but the guy who convinced me to do it sold me the rockers, but not the correct pushrods to go with it ffs
