Yeah i remember now its like one piece. I wouldnt seperate them.

hmm still havent got mine yet lol.

unfortunatly very common in the X series to rust out there. If your handy you can do what Scottly said. Otherwise its wet feet.
Noticed my mates RX2 has a easy access plenum that opens up. Wish the X Series had that.
-
you smell? Have a shower. Sorry mate had to do it.
You may need a new cap if it is leaking. Im surised you can smell it though. I would check for another leak as well.

Gee another way to go about. Decisions. I think il stick with the Aussie speed manifold with the Impco gear.
Still liking this alot. Making a very usefull thread.
-
Ive got a 425 and base plate coming next sunday. Just need the manifold and oh the motor!
-
Had my Parts car (ZH marquis) running today and realised it has a B2 converter. Its some Brand called Aussie. Any way i assume that will work with my Impco 425. Also has a Gas hat an a few other bits and pieces i can use. Unfortunatly it is using a thermoquad so i can pinch the carb.
-
yeah it just looked funny had a big bulge at the bottom.
Il see what can be done anyway. Im happy with the one for the short term.
-
Ive seen a ZF with a modified lower quater panel to hide the tank. Was cool.
Well thats all good to know anyway. I want a the second tank for places where gas is a bit less common like when i was in tassie there where places i couldnt get it.
I dont really wanna loose anymore boot space though.
-
do you think all my lines will be good to use? Im hoping il only need the converter and the gas carby and that my original tank and lines will be ok.
Although i will eventually want a second tank to give me long range. I will remove the petrol tank for that and get a doughnut tank.
-
I think it will be fine. Il get a holley base to. Simple.
-
Thanks Dean. Will buy both.
-
Ok I think im set on the Impco 425. I know I can set it up and that's enough for me. Classic case of KISS keep it simple stupid.
One question. Will it work with my OMVL converter. I have dual fuel on the ZL now and there is an OMVL converter all plumed in and ready to go. so can I or do I need to get an Impco converter.
-
The only thing is the GRA stuff is pricey. Not saying it isn't worth it. Just costly.

Yep Wes he stuffed up. Saw it on the neighbours doorstep this morning and grabbed it lol. If you think its fairly easy you might just have me interested!
-
im sorta trying to avoid computers unless there very simple.
-
Wes how hard would it be to setup?
Just got my thermos by the way! My neighbour got them first though lol.
-
hmmm. Sounds like a good option. I have an OMVL converter. Unsure if its any good but my car certainly has no guts on gas. Maybe i should try and find a complete Egas AU motor than?
Holley 350, dual fuel help!

should run better than that though. My car runs ok on dual fuel. Better on petrol though.
