Its my belief that Gas instalers are pricey. When you are supplying your own stuff to. I would install what you can and let them finish it like thunderbolt said. I think the rebate has made the whole area a bit grey these days.

I have the VHT stuff on the headers in my ZH. Not sure how long its been on but it looks good still.

Mcfly i find the twin horns on my ZL more the adequate. Around here people drive infront of me at round abouts all day. They never miss the reminder that ZLane is going to make a mess of your mazda 2 when i blast them. I just hate the horn botton on the light stalk.

after alot of sanding i wasnt happy that all the surface was clean. So i put some rusttech on it. It turned a few bits black so im glad i did it.

The fairlane 500 i have bought has the rear quater panels stripped. Because they have been bare for a while there is some minor surface rust. I have started to sand it of. My question is once i have sanded it all what should i do next? Should i treat it with a rust curing /converting wash like rustech? Or should i etch prime it? I want to get it all covered up before it starts getting pitted and i want to stop future rust as best i can.

Agreed on motospray. I have used a few of there things. Although i found the bog ok to use. Thanks for all the tips guys.

its fairly light. I hit it with the random orbital for a second this morning with a 180 grit. Its was all i had. That had it of very easy. Thanks Hendrixhc.

Ah cool will do.any recomendations for priming that? Etch or epoxy?

Thanks BBS XE. Have any brand or type you reccomend? Previously i have used rust tech. That converts rust to black stuff.

the second computers globe was blown. I was going to pull my globe out anyway.

My ZL used to do this. Me and my mechanic spent some time trying to find out why it was doing it. Eventually i lived with it. Then my trip computer went completly mad. I replaced and the light doesnt work on the new one!

My computer went bonkers for a while. Was saying i had 1km until empty when i had a half tank. Then i decided like polsons that i could get 800km from a tank. I replaced it. Cleaned up some wires behind it. Now it even keeps time!
