This is something I've been toying with twin impco 300a . Kinda a custom piece to have one mixer go left and one right I would run duel fuel. But with a holley throttle body it would work straight gas. One impco e and yeah.
-
also another option is ppi tank mounted in the boot floor , way more expensive but you can order then with as many sevice lines as you need .
-
you can do it also on the newer tanks if you do away with the tank gauge and just run another service line there .
-
yeah you need a 4 port tank with a separate relief valve apa. then were the relief valve is you put the filler there instead using a thread in filler , then you are left with one space left for a extra sevice line , but you fit in there a service/relief valve parts needed 4 port tank 4 bolt service / relief thread in filler valve the filler is found on most older tanks , the 4 port tank is found in most 80s to 90s cars and the service/relief valve is found in most modern cars I made a twin outlet tank in my old escort for 20bucks , you just need to no what your looking for .

I had them on my xd for abit they look cool ,

my mate ran a aussie speed manifold and a 600 cfm carby , with a modified xf electronic dizy , will all be very easy to get going from memory aussie speed sell a dizy aswell . the car went like hell , the motors in a fuel injected fairlane now and it doesn't feel like its has a much torque and dyno sheet is only like 10 more hp on efi .
-
Yeah that's what I ended up doing. Droped it about 1.5 1.75 inches . With three inch blocks it will be nice and low . And I can pull the blocks out when I won't.
-
Has any one had good results with turning s few leafs over in the pack to lower ute, vans, station wagons. I was going to have a play with my ute and try get two inches lower on the leafs.
-
ok thanks , guess ill see what happens on the weekend .
-
Also I just looked under the ute I've only got 4 leafs . And it doesnt look like the third down is doing bugger all untill there is great load on them . Are these one ton springs. Will it still make a difference.
-
Wow I would have thought I'd would be more that that. Race on then.
-
And I bet it is twice as heavy as an old ute . The real test will be how it goes towing my boat around slammed .
-
Thanks . I've never flipped the leafs only blocks. Thanks for the info . Saves me stuffing around all day trying to get a good height.
-
I'm going to fit Blocks as well . 5 inches from stock is what I won't.

Can a Weber 34ADM be boost referenced and how....

yes there is the answer , cheep also . -
Who noes about powerglides I'm looking at getting one for my ba. I had planed on a c4 but have changed my mind. I've seen there a few different types . What's the best to get. I'm planning on building one so internally makes no difference . Are a 6 cylinder and v8 one the same . I'm going to buy a book on them but before I do thought I would see what other people no.
-
Three speed will drive better on the street because I has one ratio in the middle to even it all out. The way I've been looking at it. My cars got nethier box . And I can build alot stronger power glide for the same price as I can build a c4 . And most of the really fast cars run powerglides . There must be a reason for that.
-
Yeah I think its got a t56 magnum . And I bet the clutch isn't a off the shelf job. Biggest you can get is a mal wood one and that's 3500. Plus the box. My t56 wouldn't take the punishment.
-
ok thanks for that , are all the imput shafts between the v8s and 6s the same , i had a option to buy a 6 cylinder one , i had planed and putting a stonger imput and clutch drum in it big pan , and good clutchs and band , full manuel valve body and that would do me , other motors ive seen built like mine are pulling around 700rwk at the tyres all i wont is a good setup to get me into the low tens a few times then ill more than likley go back to the 6 speed manuel

It was easy to setup first off. Horrible to tune. Any one I talk to these days I recommend gas. Gas works great with boost and with a impco 225 you can get it to drive nicely without even really needing a wideband . -

Me me me . I had one on a turbo Gemini when I was younger . Pull it apart . Remove the floats fill them with expander foam and solder the hole up . Use a rising rate pressure reg . And bigger fuel pump. We soldered and redrilled jets to suit. It all worked . Wasnt perfect mixtures . Lots of tuneing involved. -
we did one in my mates old skid rig , was ef bottom end and head , au rods, blocks and heads decked , first motor had a big ported head and bigger valves , we found it had tons more torque with just bigger valves and smaller ports rather than the massive ported head , aussie speed manifold , modifidied electronic dizy , had a 600 holley wich was way to big , rejetted it but never dynoed we went a ef bottom end just because of the sump proplems with a au engine this motor went like buggery and still does , let go a rod once doing a 6,000 burnout with a trailer load of wood on the back . also ran a t5 and the dizy was sorced from aussie speed , this was all very simple to fit with xg mounts and xg power steer pump , used the same wiring from the xflow motor . the the pros from this setup was every thing was very basic and easy todo . cons were it used lots of fuel , but the motor is now in a el with efi and a tune and it uses not much less .
