Yeah well GED brought the manifold off pro250 so I guess we will see what happens.

We have been looking around for options for geds turbo XE , running a 2 barrel redline manifold and gas research , fuel distribution is really bad currently and flow through the manifold isn't great . Been looking at two options , custom plenum , or Aussie speed 4 barrel inlet , and leaning towards the Aussie speed one. <br /><br />What's peoples experiences with these manifolds , I've spoke with the dealer and they say it will work fine.

Also I should mention I'm well aware that a well designed plenum is the ultimate way. But we are not chasing big power and possibility of future engine swap , so not looking to spend serious coin.

Yeah that was the first plan . Same thing its just a big pain , the engine bays really neat with the converters hanging of the engine. And under the manifold . Even considered a bbm manifold with a nizrpro top. <br /><br />Nethier of us have much motivation ATM for totaly redoing what is there . We had hoped with a Aussie speed manifold we could just bolt it on , fix the fuel distribution and mabey pick up a few HP.

What's the disadvantage of the manifold over a plenum. Just volume ? We have the technology to make a custom plenum , but its going tobe a massive piss around , rework every thing fuel really and intercooler pipe , and cut another hole in the car.<br />

I could make you one , I'm in Ballarat but. We use to go to radiant exhaust in laverton , there work wasn't to terrible.

Looking good , me and my friend GED having been looking at meth injection for his turbo LPG cross flow , in the process of getting a plenum sorted , and a crane hi6 to take some more timing out , runs a recurved vac advance dizy , looking forward to seeing how it all goes.

Gra on a centerpoint will work with the correct adapters. Heaps of setups done like that before. I'm running a impco 225 on a mulitpoint manifold ATM but its very restrictive , I'm in the process of having a motor built that makes around 200rwk on petrol , its just street drivable , but I'll be running a Aussie speed 4 barrel and gas research . Looking forward to seeing how it goes.

I'm building a new motor for my ute , this engine combo goes around 220hp . But I'll be running on LPG , I'm thinking I'll just get a heavy duty clutch but I'm not sure how it will go. I do use the car for towing . What do people think .

I'll have 3.7 gears I think , I was looking at a clutch industries HD with a ceramic material center .

im looking at doing this same conversion in my xg , just because i have a really good low k engine sitting there ill re ring and bearing, i may run my xg head and wade cam but as i just spent 1000 or so getting it reco and cam fitted before summer , i think i may need a custom sway bar or grind the bumps of the front of the sump and mabey i can move the sway bar forward . after i get geds xe done ill be starting this , i wont be running petrol but will have gas research and a bbm manifold, i allready have a el computer that has a tickford gas timing curve i found the auto shifts are much nicer with this ecu .

Hi all , what's the best way to attach tail light surround trims on a XE , ged got some good ones of my SPAC but all the clips broke or where rusty , can you get clips , or is 3m body mould tape a good idea. I've been toying with the idea of building a camping rig. I've got some good bit laying about , I want a XE or xd station wagon and I'm wanting to lift it . I'll just make coil spacers for the front , has any one done this before . How high could you go .any other crazy ideas would be good. Yeah the chassis idea we thought about . There was mention about f100 transfer and hilux diffs . Make some front rails and convert the front to leaf spring. I have been on the look out for a fair while . I was thinking 2.5 inches up would be the limits . That and the front guards cut up might fit a decent tyre. I would be happy with just some more ground clearance . Can any one suggest somewhere to get a adjustable cam gear for a 4 litre. New cam need some fine tuning .
