yep first gear in a glide is usually about halfway between 1st/2nd in a 3 speed... a lot of people don't go c4 due to the weak top gear/frying clutches etc etc im sure everyones used to and the c6 is just that little bit tighter to squeeze in.... personally im going glide but ill rarely ever drive it on the street so it all depends what youll be doing with it!

I got quoted today varying between 3500-3900 for a fabbed 9inch to suit xd wagon, 35 spline axles, full spool, 4.11 gearing etc etc... all big name parts... but with a big name price too considering its axle to axle no brakes :/

yep yep a lot of the gas modules can use an inductive pick up off the lead problem is if that lead shits itself or starts to go you get weak signals and the gas cuts in and out best straight off the coil
-
yeah I looked at what was in it and went well the parts alone are worth that so even if I pull the sump and heads its only gona cost a few gaskets to check it out... fingers crossed shes the goods!

I just picked up a 408 with deburred, prepped, sonic tested 51 block filled with forged scat rods and crank, probe forged pistons, chi heads and manifold, sump etc, crower solid cam lifters rockers and it was 9500... I don't care what the figures are atleast it should be reliable (and on the 550-600hp mark) with room for the giggly oh and stud kits top and bottom all new bolts etc

ford never released a set position for them, even amongst eb/ed/ef/el they changed location sometimes from one month to another, along with some of their wiring and colours used... made life a bitch at work for a while :/

price all depends on whats used where etc... you can buy a 600 hp stroker or a 500hp stroker for the same money but it comes down to reliability as im sure youd all know
