filter was a new ryco.... still had to pull the motor out Ando.. had a knock but not deep enough to be big end.. i replaced all the lifters and still the same thing.. I dropped the sump and pulled the oil pump and when i put the drive in and turned it i got to one point and it seemed to get stiff to move then come clean after that so i'm hopping its that.

ok so on more of a look the Oring on the oil filter was cracked and where it was facing was right at the dissy.. but the funny thing was that where the dissy over hangs the block the oil was hitting that and making it look like it was coming out of the dissy hole.. all good everyone thanks for the input..

Ok I need to know some of the machine shops that people have been using and do good work?? I'm thinking of P.E.A.C.H performance..
-
-
it was made for a speedway car..
-
sorry had a brain fart.. its 107.5 lobe sep..
-
Oh and just to let everyone know that the cam numbers stamped on the back " CM250S " stands for " CM250 " is to suit a 250 xflow and the " S " stands for a unfinished cam so its just a blank cam that other cam makers buy like wade cams or sure cams or cam tech..

ok so after many phone call and visits to many stores I can not find anything that will work as its already one size bigger.... my only option was to go to a 1/2 hole and then it becomes to close to the water jacket and cylinder... so what I have done is tried this stuff called pro weld.. its a 2part glue/weld.. they reckon its a chemical weld.. but we will see.. i'll bolt the head down this weekend and see what happens..

sorry i didn't get the size of the hole 2day was pretty busy and now i'm busy drinking beer.. up QLD.. what a win.. anyway.. I have a 60thou over motor swell but the piston have a good size dish to them and also the piston is far from the deck hight.... so I was thinking of running a set of FG xrt6 rods.. I know they are taller than the 250 and shorter than the 200 and I could always machine down the top of the piston.. has anyone ever played around with putting AU to FG rods in xflow's and if so can you tell me the in's and out's?? my 40thou over motor has bugger all dish and has 200 rods. would like to use it but if I can get the right rods for the 60 over motor I think i would be better doing that.?

i will measure it 2moro and no its not broken off in the hole

its the same hole that the first dowl goes in..
