  1. CRS were advertising wilwoods that were adr compliant when i was at motorex a 2 years ago. They may have only been the dynalite series.

I know of wilwoods that are on xseries cars. There is a kit that does fit.

i have them on my xe but umm, unless you want to run a hq stubaxle and buy 67-69 camaro kit i kinda cant help lol.

I have your top link on the rear of mine. Both front and rear on my car dont have the dust boots.

  2. I am going a T400 for mine scottly, hoping to be well over 400kw though. I had a C4 built for it with all the fruit before this. Cost me about 5k through Als Race Glides not including converter or bell housing. It had extra clutches the lot, and al warranted it to 1000hp. I have since sold it to fund a T400, which I should have ordered by now lol.

  3. White line sold these spacers a while back, not sure if they still make them.

I have a set that I may not use as i kinda don't have shock towers anymore on my current project lol.

Q also designed a good set that many members have, both designs gave an extra 20 or so mm of travel from memory? I can't remember as I haven't seen my set in 3 years lol.

  4. dont worry blu xe a twin turbo 4.6 mod motor was discussed for a while.

there are more and more weld in front ends being developed for x series now, but most dont say that xd-f are compatible. they couldnt be too far different??

id love to see a 5.0 in a older car. far better than the old 5.4 lump that was before it.

  5. i dont understand why the price of the car comes into it? the kits are all around the same price, so if you want to try something like that you have to be prepared to pay the money. my front brakes were worth about the same price that i paid for my car, but i feel the purchase price is irrelevant to the end goal of what i want to see my car finish like.

if i was going down this track dave i like the global west stuff. i think  a few people on here have had success with it, and when i was looking it looked like the best made kit you could get.

  6. Wilwood make a 4 piston caliper with dust boots, might be a new model. They are in the Dynapro range.

I was speaking to castlemaine rod shop (waddingtons) at motorex and they said that they were making a compliant wilwood kit for older cars. if you want to use wilwoods it might be worth a call. They probably won't be cheap though.

I will be using wilwoods, but unsure of what size/model as of yet.

  7. Top class tyres are making a rip off version in a 1 piece. Look the same and have a higher load rating apparently. Only in fixed offsets and sizing, so for xfalcs you would prob need spacers. $2500 with tyres.

I always wanted Simmons before Tempe had them. Now I'd prob go a billet instead. 12-13 inches wide please!

  8. I still love those wheels rob!

I had a small issue on my xe when I had them, they caught ever so slightly in the front of the front guards. Small amount of massage and all good.

Gold vertini drifts look great, and come in staggered widths like rob's roh 19's.

  9. nice work for an old crossy thats for sure.

i dont think that the etstreets are any less grippy. With the sidewall having less give than a slick it would be harder to get the tyre to 'hook' initially, but work well once grip is found.

Heaps of people starting to go quick on them in aus (a few forum members included) and the yanks have been trying to tame 2000+hp through 275mm and smaller radials for ages.
