last time we measured our 351 Clevo we got 65 litres per 100 k's, is that OK?

Looking good, are we going to see it trackside this year?

We have the Hopper Stoppers kit on the XE track car - very happy with it, we just had to some small grinding mods to the blocks that came with the kit
-
Thanks I will give it a go.

My headlights are pointing just in front of the car, what is the best way to adjust them to get them up a bit to the correct line, considering high beam as well. I know I need a flat wall, but what next, what are the measurements
Anyone?
Thanks in anticipation

Hey Guys, I am trying to track a heater valve control for the rear of the heater in my XP, the current one is buggered and not allowing all the water through, I have tried ebay but I must not be putting in the right words - anyone help please?

We have run a single rail in our XE track car for over 7 years, other than a rear seal it has given us no problem

all too quickly people blame the gearbox, but nearly all issues with transmissions are caused by the operator not driving them appropriately. pushing them beyond what they are designed to do

Generally 2nd gear is dodgy because it is generally your 'cornering' gear, and people pull them back into 2nd at a speed too high (using the gearbox them as a brake, to "slow them down") and thus wearing the synchro's overly
You see exactly the same thing in truck synchro gearboxes, generally it is 4th in them

Sorry I should have said 'we used to run them' because we couldn't get them any more we did a brake upgrade to BA rotors and AUII callipers (thanks Hopper Stoppers - LOL)

Bare bones now. Time to weld on some more cage and bog some dents.
I take it you won't be at the next Sprint round

Looking good bro

I thought you could pull them out and pay someone to put them back in again, talk to a window bloke, use the original windows, it might work
-
You are going to pull the old stickers off aren't you - LOL
Are you going to pull the front and rear windows out to paint it, it is worthwhile if you intend to paint the inside as well, we regret not doing it to ours
Hazel said that you had sent a pic to her phone, she is laid up in bed with a bad back, best I go and look now - yep same pic

We always soak them in oil first, all the good mechanics recommend that
-
Is it a standard Clevo with standard heads?
If it is you don't need to do anything, just pull out the old lifters and put the new ones in, there is generally no need to adjust rockers on a standard engine, the whole point of hydraulic lifters is to take away the need to adjust rockers, but I am not a mechanic.
There is a really cool tool you can get for pulling out the old lifters, not sure if you can get them in Aus, I am sure you can somewhere

It appears the problem was the filter we had before the pump, they (Holley) recommend 100 micron and we had one substantially less than that so the poor bloody pump was working its arse off trying to suck fuel through - dumb us!!!
