I figure the 011 box would suit my purpose fine... Short 1st to get the Lane moving with 2.77 rear.... Best of both worlds

Would be good to have a list of them all with the 0503-xxx numbers
0503-008 1st 2.46 2nd 1.78 3rd 1.27 4th 1.00
0503-009 1st 3.06 2nd 1.84 3rd 1.38 4th 1.00
0503-011 1st 3.27 2nd 1.99 3rd 1.38 4th 1.00 This is rough guesstimate tho.

I would be pulling the trans out again and fitting the converter to the trans then refitting it... Probably nothing wrong with the starter at all.

No probs.... Looks like the earth of the radio runs thru the amp for some reason too which I found odd... If you want any specific pics or close ups let me know.

You would need a Dizzy to.... As the timing is controlled by ECU too (XF EFI they are)
An electric fuel pump for a carby as well as there is no mechanical pump drive on a EFI camshaft.
-
Some of that may polish out....
The deeper ones as a quick fix get some paint that matches and with a small brush fill the scratch (may take a couple days over a weekend doing it in several layers once the previous layer has dried.... then wet sand lightly with 1500 or 2000 til level and then polish it. You may still see it up close but most people wont pick it from a small distance...

Was thinking of doing this myself with a EAII ECU and loom....
I am crap at Auto Electrics tho....
-
A B/W35/40 with a 2.77 should have a 18 tooth cog and yes they are dark purple
-
Are you sure.....
They all have adjustable caster tho...
-
They obviously have no idea what they are doing... They nedd to measure the ride height front and rear before doing a wheel align on a BÀ-BF and it changes the settings its align at.... Go somewhere else..
-
BA BF are the same..... They can be shimmed too on the front....
Only BA BF Turbos and V8's had adjustable rear camber....
-
PM Phantom....
He is the AU-FG DemiGod......
I think S5 is under the valvebody... so it needs to be dropped... Dont quote me on that tho.
-
More compression means more torque.... Egas donks pack a punch when turbo'ed
-
think 8.8:1
-
I thought the gas engine was even higher compression than the normal one.
Only on BA...
BA ULP 9.7:1 Egas 10.7:1
BF are both 10.3:1 ULP & Egas
FG S1 10.3:1 FG S2 (EcoLPi) 12:1
-
Egas motor is cheaper than a turbo motor... When it goes bang, get another one....
-
Few people have turbocharged a stock egas motor before.... Run on E85.. problem solved hehe
-
Dont know.... could always use a compression plate I guess..
-
Change the pistons and your pretty much set
-
They use the same rod as the turbo Barra's... or should I say the Turbo Barra's use the same rods as the egas as they were developed for the Egas first.

This is definitely (011) 3.26 1st 1.99 2nd as I checked it...
The other box I have is a (009) 3.06 1st 1.84 2nd
Its only running a stock 4.1EFI with extractors and exhaust. so should be fine
