Yeah that's them, can you tell me where they come out of the loom. My engine bay loom got chopped and changed before I got it

yeh wiring isn't an issue, trying to find the right kind of wire as i dont want to use your regular audio power wire need something a little more robust lol... does someone have a loom diagram for the engine bay still need to find some wires i'm missing?

cheers guys, its already got a seperate cable for the starter so would i still need 0 gauge, i was leaning more towards 2 gauge but like mentioned trying to find some good quality cable that isn't gonna melt or wear out if i run it under the body is proving to be difficult atm... what kind of distibution block are people using? i did see someone using a pass through style one where it goes through a panel or something so you can keep the main lead hidden behind

I've got an XF Ute with some not so great wiring, it's had the battery moved to under the tray and the wire that's been run to power the engine bay and dash seems small. Was hoping someone could help out with what gauge wire it should be, will be running Thermos off it and msd ignition box etc

Also there doesn't seem to be a wire to power a coil does anyone have a diagram or pin out for the factory loom so I can trace it or run new one, and one last thing the fusible links can they be changed to a circuit breaker or something? Missing mine!

I heard t5 turned around works, don't quote me... I just put a 351c in my Xf but the gearbox was already in and I'm mostly doing my own wiring

Power coil and run fuel that's pretty much that, most others ie alternator and starter should be same

little metal box beside headlight relays ,its call a bio metallic strip ,fuck it off and fit and in fuseable link

Yep, Its the main current limiting circuit for the headlights. It will have some thicker.. like 10awg, yellow (?) wires going to it. Have you changed your headlight's globes? If you fit globes above standard wattage it may exceed the current limitation of the thermal fuse and the headlight circuit will exhibit the issue you describe.

fingers crossed you get approved mate, always nice having something different than everyone else. Even though they're pretty much the same chassis as XE its just the emissions crap that hold us back, i got my own build happening atm even though its been engineered it was on gas so i have to work my way around that somehow  haha worst case you'll have to gas it like most do

The paint underneath is white, not sure if there is a coat between them but

seems to be a tuff one, guess i'll just have to wait till i can get a colour match and see if it comes out close to poly as that seems to be the most popular answer i'm getting... Worst case i'll buy a touch up kit for a couple of scratches and see if ends up matching

Is this a custom color? or could it be based off of a ford color, originally thought it could be poly green but even though its close this is more blue... I'm going to need some paint repairs at some point so i'd be ecstatic if i could get the same

gaz i think your on the money i'll have to get a colour sample and check it out a little closer... thanks heaps guys been looking for ages but there's no colour sample charts getting around just the colour code lists

Cheers It's actually on an xf, but not original colour. It needs the bonnet resprayed
