Hey guys, I have recently purchased a Xe s pac 250 crossflow for a parts car. it wasn't a running car but now it is, when I tried to select any gear there was nothing accept park, I have never came across this problem with a auto before but I am also new to autos.
From what I can see the top two bolts on the bell housing look like they are loose so the gearbox looks like it's been out before or posibly replaced Could there be simple solution to getting the box to select a gear or is this a take the gearbox out job? Possibly a converter problem? Thanks Scott

If I were you I would try and get my hands on a ba-bf turbo or a fg turbo they can be picked up pretty cheap and the come on fast and more than capable of 300 rwkw

What do you plan on using the car for Street, drag, drift, circuit that play a big part in turbo size required

Hey mate are you going to plastic polish your clear Perspex whilst the cluster is apart? This is some thing I have been thinking about as I have one I am currently bringing back to life. Maybe vdo could shed some light on how to do this he seems be the man with this gear

That's what I was thinking, the company would stamp gt on there clevo heads that they reco and then a serial number. Does any one no what company this is or I'm hoping some one goes wow there super rare heads but I don't think that's likely as I have never seen this on any clevo heads before even my last coupe engine

Cool thread mate, first one on this topic with detailed pics. I have Been told it is still not 100% accurate this way but it is very close I think there needs to be some thing else changed maybe resister as mentioned as above. I will still be using this method tho

I saw this on face book also today it does have me very interested, I wonder how much further working of the panel is needed before you can lay color down? Plus from what I saw there is no holes for bolts, I also wonder what the best method of fixing these would be maybe a nice size ss washer with a ss Allen key bolt? Cool product tho

My bt 50 ute with new Tyres (3 moths old) stepped out slightly sideways on the eastern freeway in overdrive 5th gear which it has never done any where. Plus popping the ute into little drifts was noticeably Easy today

Don't true track make one?

Make sure your pulley is straight and the pressure of the clamps didn't bend it, my Xd ute had a slightly warped pulley and it use to throw the belt off over 4000rpm

Front Tyres will be coming off shortly I'll check then, I am going to get some new outer hoops made so instead of 8" I'm going to 5" there is a place in lilydale called white horse industries they make custom outer hoops. Not to sure on your location but they might do post or freight.

Hey guys, I'm wondering what is the best method for treating that veiny type of rust that's under paint usually? And I'm also interested on how to repair pitted rust sections aswell. I'm familiar with the por 15 rust treatment system, I also know of rust converters as well but I have never used them and I don't know the process from start to primer stage any info would be great thanks Scott

Fitting extractors/headers

Passenger side is very easy as there is a heap more room. if you struggle with the drivers side as said above feed the headers from the bottom up if it's Easyer, you can also take out the drivers side engine mount through bolt and carefully jack or crane the drivers side of engine up to lean the Motor over touch which will give you more access. +1 for studs
