it was tuned when i had the head gasket blow. it had never run sweeter. heads were machined, everything was double checked. What gaskets do people recommend? Nothing made in china though.

I blew the same gasket about 6 months ago, then a few months later a head gasket. Its a rebuilt 351w with a single plane hirise manifold running straight gas. I rarely flog it. I actually heard it blow this time, when i was doing 115kmh on the Hume. its a distinctive loud tapping noise that occurs under load, and is silent at all other times. Annoying as hell. I fitted felpro gaskets between the heads/block, inlet, and exhaust when repairing the blown head gasket. Made in USA... Advice?

I'm no longer an x-falcon member so i will comment here. he doesnt need to worry about copyright unless he uses the word Ford on the prduct. Copyrights on designs expire after 25 years. That has passed. he can make and sell the design to his hearts content. He cant use the term FORD on the product as thats a trademark. He can tell you that this product will fit a Ford. IANAL.

I ran moon discs on 14 x 8 fake kmart 12 slotters for years.

If you wanted to fit a low water sender, where would you fit it? I added about a litre of coolant yesterday arvo. what level would you place the sender?
