1st!! Seeking advice and ideas on a car audio instal xf
Ando81 replied to Sardaara's topic in Interior and Car Audio
I believe that JVC head units are way under rated for their price. I don't care who argues this point, I've got mine setup and it does an awesome job, it has woofer control so it is adjustable which a lot of others don't have and to have it professionally installed with a remote only cost me $450 about 7 years ago and is still going strong. I have got blaupunkt speakers front and rear running off a 4 channel blaupunkt amp and a single 12 inch old zr type alpine sub in a sealed box running off a 2 channel alpine amp. Sounds great -
Sounds like there is plenty of options to look at, would love to put some of these go fast bits on my xf once I get my new diff in. Seems that no one has suggested fuel supply to achieve these figures. I'm guessing a stock mechanical fuel pump won't cut it.

Hi all, just picked up an e series diff for my Xf and wanted to know if anyone knows what the part number is for the brake line adapter that I need to connect the brake line. From what I have read elsewhere, I am happy to use the ed brakes, so can I just get this adapter and keep with the ed t piece and flexible lines to the calipers. Cheers for any help
-
Ok, cheers mate

Sorry to cause confusion but does the adapter I need just fit onto the steel line coming from my xf to connect to the flexible rubber pipe that goes to the ed diff and t piece. I had planned to use all of the ed plumbing that came on the diff, steel lines and flexible lines on the calipers etc.

I got the shed in a kit form and already have put the uprights up and it is all concreted in. Had I not already concreted the floor I might have made the opening wider but now that its all in I won't bother. Just have to breathe in when I back into the skinny door haha.

Simple, its on the far bay of my shed so back her in and drivers door will open no drama

Just did the tape through the windows trick. Came up with 2100 overall mirror to mirror so this will only leave me with 75mm either side of mirrors to get her in will be a snug fit but will just have to be on the ball to do it. Lucky I don't drive it too often hey!!

That might be the best shot mate, tried to do it on my own but might need a mate to help. Thanks for the tip !!

Oh good work mate!! Sounds like you've got it sorted

Cheers mate, I will go with some of that. My engine is all stock so shouldn't have to worry bout killing it, I don't dump the clutch, just carry a bit of weight in the tub from time to time so it should hold together for a few more years.

Thanks for the input, a bloke said to me that he used tq95 auto trans fluid in his. Anyone else used it? I think its a Castrol oil.
