    Supercharger

Mv does well and im a fan. I have had 2 turbo falcons and both reliable drivers both stock cams and engines bar a decompression plate. Stage 2 kit in 1993 and the set up I have now in 2016. Can do a flat 13 second pass and barely go over 4000rpm. I like them but you are right he is getting on in years. Back in 1993 it cost $5500 so not cheap bank then. Latest way more than that. Parts $7500 alone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best method for changing loom connectors?

Good eBay link, just bought a set so thank you Got one of these too. Gee they are good. From cold to melting solder in 3 seconds flat. The battery lasts ages. Worth the cost verse time http://www.surefloexhaust.com.au/misc/cordless_soldering_iron/cordless_soldering_iron.htm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Keep your head up. I refuse to send anything of decent value through Aussie post. Magically lost more gear than I care to talk about with my old race car. eBay was a classic, they say it's sent give some bull crap tracing number from a pre purchased post tag. Be mindful to ensure the person sending the product has proof and photos of the tracing number on the parcel. Sometimes supplier bullshit to with get more time or other reasons. I only do Dhl with insurance for proper cost gear or rare. Keep on them both the supplier and Aus post. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    CROSSY CAPERS

He has done two turbo crossys for me one in 93 and one near 2 year ago. It's Very nice work and reliable. Mines stock internal with springs and punches 16psi totally reliable (allow for driveline a upgrades though)

    THOR

True but you need to be mindful at the drags with efi to run with hall a tank as the tanks are very flat. Just safer really and probably debatable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Turbo xf falcon.

Good luck with the build. Sound like some work ahead. FYI Having owed an old mike vine stage two xe, I know he had three stages to choose from. I got a stage 2 which was the below above the stage 1 twin strongberg carbies, extra heavy duty clutch and 1.1 bar boost so about 16psi. No meth but same water injection system as stage 1. Yes it had a green light that light up when water injection was running. Had a 5 litre water tank that you had to check and top up if you were on it too much. Pretty hard to remember what rwkw but at was around the 190rwkw. Brutal turbo lag but fun as hell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    295/50/15 tyre on a 8.5 rim??

And the tyre shop that fitted it is at risk too. I know tyrepower has refused to fit some 275s on a 8 inch rim I asked for. Only way they would was me sign a disclaimer and I they would not fit it to the car. My was for circuit racing anyway so not for road use. Like you said allot of people do it just like spacers. Still way way better that running on no tread at all which endangers every road user. Think of the positives. The amount of cars I follow with one half the tyre bald if amazing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    CROSSFLOW extractors

Not to mention efi easier to start. Sometimes on a cold morning back in albury in the xe turbo blow through I had in the early 90s I could be there 5 minutes trying to get fuel up and yanking in and out with the choke getting fuel up verse flodding. It was a twin cd strongberg mike vine stage two. After a few mornings I got some aerostart and fixed that issue , much easier. Efi all day pricing cash is available fir tuning etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    CROSSFLOW extractors

Haltech efi. Tuned to 98. Has Rpm electronic boost ramping Bit about the car below. I have a full build sheets with just about every nut and bolt that went into the build http://www.ozfalcon.com.au/index.php?/topic/2978-hi-from-darwin-xe-owner/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    CROSSFLOW extractors

It's a new garret GT3788R Very good turbo combo with very little lag. It will produce positive boost from 1100rpm and spoils very quick. Mike did a great job on mine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    CROSSFLOW extractors

Boost does cost plenty. My combo was $7500 just parts inc everything from turbo to Haltec ecu. Then a truck load of labour from the builder. I got the hole thing done and just got the car delivered all done and tuned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    CROSSFLOW extractors

310rwhp stock engine at 16psi with double valve springs. And de-tuned above 4000 for reliability/t5 manual strength. Yes the turbo does cost to fit but so reliable and simple. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Number Plate Info and Fees in your state

7 letters what ever you want for $185 in the nt. Slimline, couple of colours and types etc makes no difference last I checked. Still times change. It used to be $50 for them few years ago hence 80% of plates in the nt are private plates. There was some beauties before they cracked down on offence plates. Friggen crack up working out meanings when I got up. Most of the good ones are gone now due to complaints I still see fcr4me around so maybe by chance that is his/true initials Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice video and great quality. Good on you for getting the footage. Superb Bad luck with the engine and good luck with the build Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I just got a etreme heavy duty so called rated to 400hp plus. It feels good under foot. I'm Heading to the drags tomorrow so I will let you know. Has a good take up without too on/off feel. I ended up going a machined flywheel instead of new or newer model Flywheel. It's a t5 and crossflow turbo 310rwhp at 16 pound boost and 2.92 gear

    295/50/15 tyre on a 8.5 rim??

It will be tight, you may struggle to find tyre shops willing to do it if you take your car to them and although bloody unlikely Insurance may kick up a stink if you crash or are at fault in a bingle. I've seen 305 on a 8 inch rim but looked pretty strange on a street car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
