when i removed mine on the efi250 for a clevo conversion i pretty much just unplugged a few things at a time and kept checking that i had 12v to the pump. after taking everything out i still have 12v to the pump wiring, but no pump now im carbie. so should be the same for you but all gas systems are different and makes it anoying

i unpluged my coil from my efi250 cut everything else off the loom and droped the clevo in, plugged the coil on and spark right away

Needing to know were i can get power steering fittings. Spoke to a guy today who can make up pressure lines but he cant get any fittings. Also would be good if i could get some hard line and bend up my own pipe were i want it to go instead of having to fight it to clear the headers. Anyhelp would be good. Im using the steel pump the same as on the 250 xflow. the line in the car fits but its way to long.
-
iv dumied up a pipe going from the box, accross the front of the sump and then to a pressure line going to the pump. iv marked where i need all the welds so take it up the road tomorrow morning and take it from there
-
cheers was looking at aeroflow but my budget does not allow for the word aeroflow. the guy said he can make me up a pipe even if i get a heap of hard lines and he will weld them all together and then fit a pressure hose. so iv got a heap of 6cyl lines and have cut them up to give me the right bends etc etc. will messure it all and take it to him to weld and fit a pressure line then i should be ok, maybe, one day. should i bought the complete system i saw on gumtree for $80 when i saw it instead of uming and areing about it

the car was not fitted with a v8 to start with. i just hate extra shit that i dont need. iv just always thought colder air = better density = better combustion so never seen the point ramming hot air down the guts of your engine, weather cruising or thrashing it.
-
why would i have polution control if i have a choice. why would i want to ram hot exhaust air down the guts of my motor. i dont and never will see the point in egr's

just one bolt. but does not fit near the carbie

Hey guys does anyone have a pic on were the spring goes for the throttle to close back shut. have a 351c with a carter thermoquad. i have the spring and a bracket but cant remember where it bolts to. Thanks
-
yeah under the carb area its the 2 small bolts the closest large bolt seems way to far way. but will have to do. but might need a longer spring as its streesing pretty bad on the manifold bolt
-
i was pretty sure it was the manifold bolt, but the bracket does not fit there so fk knows

hey guys Had alot of free time about a year ago and was mucking around with clusters and stuff. i managed to work out how to get them going via a usb port then i had working gauges for my racing games. After that i ended up building a whole cockpit from a EF was heaps of fun. Unfortunate was to heavy to move and had to pull it all down.i think i might do another build one day Anyway just thought i would share First time i got the guages to work After building a cockpit

i was gonna do another one with the FD dash from the donor car, set up a seat and all, just dont have the room, need another room in my house some how
-
yeah pc, runs with rfactor that i play iracing and that game was LFS. buy this little goddie http://www.symprojects.com/shop/rev-burner/ you will need one for every guage you run, and a 12v 1amp powerpack. plug in signal and 12v +/- to cluster and off you go
-
its the edge of the cluster, sometimes it spins the neddle inside and puts it all out. had to set a limit of 6300rpm

Hey guys I have a FMX Auto and i did a service on it and found half the dipstick in the pan. Its not even for a Trans its a Engine Dipstick hence why the last owner has snaped it off. As i dont know how much fluid i now have in my gear box as i dont have a dipstick Asking for help from anyone that has a FMX to messure the length of the dipstick and then how far up is the Full when running mark. I will then make up one to suit with the correct markings.. Have tried many auto shops and they cant help Thanks in Advance
-
looks like im going for a drive to Barker
-
haha, yeah i sometimes have blood in my alcohol system to. well i need more fluid i think as start the car let it warm up put in D and nothing happens, give the throttle a blip and she get a gear. iv put another 1ltr in and its grabing gears everytime now but still not like it was
-
does the FMX have a level plug on it, dont trust with not knowing the right dipstick size. i did a pan drop before i took it out of the car and 5.5ltrs came out. i put back in 5L plus 1.5Ltr for spillage from the rear main and a new trans cooler. i should be ok but its not something i want to cook as i like this box
-
ok thats a good help thanks what is the total length of the stick from cap to point. im trying a 6cyl one and it seems to hit the pan with about 2 inches to go and its 695mm long
-
i would bring my staffy/rotty but she would just try to play with jaxon hahaha
