I've just done this to an XF.
easy to do.
i used a t5 from ed falcon v8.
you can use any ford 5 litre t5 from eb to au.
my XF was 4 speed manual originally so i used the 4 speed mount but the 5 speed is slightly longer so you need to make some extending metal plates and your done..
next you need a reduction drive small starter again from either eb to au v8. and also the eb -au v8 flywheel.
being a Windsor flywheel, its lighter than a Cleveland flywheel. but will need to be balanced.
starter motor now will be on the passenger side and not drivers side so u will need new starter motor wiring.
if using extractors , you will need to bend the collector out slightly so itdoesnt hit starter
