S pack was really just an option pack on a GL.
What interior code is on the plate on yours?

Excellent thanks.

Anybody know what size the Welsh plugs are on the exhaust side of the crossflow?
-
Definitely keen on more photos.

Is the brown one Nutmeg? Awesome colour. Lots of nice colours to choose from but this one is going to be original Silver Grey.
Need to find medium grey seats and front door trims if possible. Going to be a nightmare.

Nice work, thanks Kris!

Anybody have a picture of a Silver XD S Pack? Want to get an idea of how mine will look restored with the original stripes and wheels etc.

Use all the xd heater box vac lines on the xf heater box. Then it all plugs straight into the dash and works.
Same with the fan speed resistor, ac evap temp probe and heater temp cable lever etc.

What model is it?
If you can get under the bonnet latch there's a lever hanging out under the radiator support. Need to move that over and it will pop. May need to break the grill though and I can't remember if the condenser or trans cooler etc get in the way.

Sure can.

They sure do look good. Maybe the oil stops it from drying out and breaking up.
-
By the way be sure to throw up a pic when it comes.
Have you got a thread on the car?

I bought a breather filter from engine master the other week. I couldnt remember why I knew the name, now I remember sly dog had a run in with them or something?

There are two or three styles I know of aside from the Aussiespeed stuff.
Try searching on ebay, search for weber 34adm or weber adm.
-
Yeah they won't quite fit, one spacer sounds about right.
-
There's a plastic cover that clips on there. Same as EL GLi seats.

I did the same thing today. Fitted the extra adjuster and moved it over one hole. Works well now, plenty of adjustment left to tighten it up more if needed.
Remember there's still the other adjuster on the driver's side if you need it shorter. The handle did feel light but it seems good.

It's a few inches away from joining the left to the right cable in the centre. I'm pulling the handbrake on trying to join it though.
-
Otherwise I'll cut the xg one off and use the xf adjuster bolt. May give more adjustment too.

I've crawled under and had another look.
First thing is the XG arm looks identical to the XF one.
I've used the XG one anyway, I can't separate it from the cable.
It has what looks like a dome bolt head on it. Looks to be a separate piece but I can't see a thread. If I can get it off I'll try the cable in one of the other holes which looks like it might give enough length.
Any help? The XF one just has a nut.
-
I did use the XG one yes. Noticed it still has the three position holes too, one of them marked "drum".
Only XF bits are the handle and front cable.

I've even got a GL parts car here that has the striped seats, 6 gauge cluster, clock and S pack wheels. Seems that often people optioned bits and pieces on them.
Didn't know the vinyl roof was officially an option though. And I've never seen that radio!
