Checked the manual. 6 and 8 all the same, should be on the top in an XD. Must be an earlier tank. I have an XF tank and pickup, I'll just have to block the return line. Or find an XD pickup and fit that. Assuming the holes the same size.

Same shit in a panelvan. All identical to the top of the tub even.
-
With the relays above the handbrake lever, behind the trim. Could be the switch too, they get funny in XD/E. If it works in certain positions probably the switch. If it doesn't work at all I'd say the flasher relay.

I'd have them dipped or blasted. Fuck painting over decades old chrome.

http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/161672427772?_mwBanner=1 Or try repco, Lord Farquad said they have them.

Can you use an e series one?
-
250KPA, 36 PSI. E Series was around that for a non XR 4.0 from memory. The fuel returns through the reg, full pressure to the rail.

I have the genuine manual if you want me to have a look?

Finally had a chance to grab the unimig on sale this morning. $459. Also came with a reg for argon which I didn't expect. Works much nicer than the Ozito one and seems much nicer quality. Also weighs just over 30kg. I'm very happy especially for that price.
-
Should be able to get aftermarket.
-
Should be interesting to see the different intake combo results.
-
Using the Cigweld stuff, have all along. I'll grab a uniweld next time I go past. I can get argoshield light in an E bottle for about $90 a year including one refill. I'll try the new one gasless first otherwise that's what I'll do.
-
Feeling pretty good about the unimig. I do own the house, I'll have to price getting a 15amp in the shed. Should be OK for now anyway as I only want to do 1mm steel.
-
Weldskill or transmig?
-
Go dump it in his front yard.
-
In saying that the one I have works OK on thicker stuff, but its a struggle on the thinner stuff.
-
The cig is a clone of the Ozito one and suffers the same fucking annoying wire feed problems according to the interwebs. I'm going to grab the unimig, $489 retail at the tool place here and I'll get trade too. Not expecting much discount on that though.
-
So no think stuff like car panels? Pretty keen on the unimig, only problem is the 15A plug. Should be OK to use it on a 10A socket (I hope) in my case as it will only ever be on the lowest settings.
-
I'll have a look at those then too.
-
I'll just have to work around the 15 amp plug.
-
James its always worked poorly from day one. The torch is crap, I've replaced it once already and the end always comes loose. The wire speed is inconsistent and the knob has broken off the adjuster. Gasless it either doesn't penetrate or tends to blow through depending on the voltage, when working with thin sheet. With the gas it won't do anything now.
-
Wagoon what do you normally weld with it? What wire and gas?

Ring a few workshops and price a rebuild. I remember reading its about half the price of an auto, a few years back people were paying around a grand for exchange rebuilt T5s.
