If there enkei they will light as wheels.. I had a set of oldshool eknie 15x10 with tyres and they were like the lightest car wheel I have ever picked up

Awesome

Yeah I reckon use are right 31 spline axles it is!
-
Thanks slydog I might have to get them. Or would it be cheaper convert the centre to 28 spline and have it rebuilt same time.
-
Hey guys I've got an Xe 9 inch diff housing that came with 28 spline axels. One is around 800 mm and the other one Is around 700 mm. I'm just wondering would these sizes be readily available in 31 spline ? Because I have a 31 spline 9 inch diff centre sitting here, or should I have the diff centre changed to 28 spline? What do you guys think is easier, better and cheaper ? Cheers guys

Just make you get tdc on the compression stroke not the exhaust stroke
-
hey I somehow got that going too by holding the button while driving.sure its on avg fuel and not inst fuel?
fuck all that shit off and fit police mode, best thing i ever did, gets rid of all those trip meter stuff which just annoys you by telling you your wasting to much fuel being a hoon haha and replaces it with a digital speedo which is actually spot on accurate instead of being 3kmh faster like the needle gauge
ba wagon here too, my best daily yet

. Yeah I want to have the converter checked as well but I think I have resolved by just going on a big hwy drive just then and I have got it down to 13.7L/100km on avg but before I left it was showing 60L/100kms on avg, so I think the computer was confused for a bit. Cause even after the hwy I drove back streets and couldn't get it to go over 15L/100kms on avg so was just the computer been a dick till I took on a hwy drive for awhile. And it only did this when I changed the o2 sensor and that must of done something to because the best it ever showed before I changed that was 17L/100kms I think. From what I got told it uses the fuel gauge to do a base calibration for L per km. mine used to flash 99.9l/km when the gauge was stuffed, maybe they fed me fibs, but that is what ford told me when the ute was new. Remember too that your oxygen sensor is only a minor trimming device. The next thing I'd do is unscrew the two 10 mm drain bolts in the bottom of the convertor. If you get any water/coolant coming out you need the convertor rebuilt.

The gas gauge is connected up with the normal fuel gauge and seems the showing the right amount of gas I'm putting into it. Is that the gauge you mean?

. Take it out n move it back a gearWhen i move it clockwise to advance it the vacuum canister hits the thermostat housing and when moved anti clockwise the module cover touchs the manifold.

Is it 180 degrees out? I put a mini extension bar with tape around it and shove it in the spark plug hole and crank it. And when it goes flying I know I got top dead center on the compression stroke. I might be a dick for doing that but it works.
-
Well I'm glad I replaced the last o2 sensor it was absolutely f#cked when I pulled it out.
-
I'm not sure that's why I'm asking is it normal to go up to 40L/100km while granny driving around back streets.
-
I just bought a ba wagon on straight gas to replace the Nissan stagea I sold. And the cluster has the average L/100kms and mine jumps up and done from 8L/100kms to 40L/100kms! Umm is this normal? And this is just cruising back streets. I replaced the o2 sensor but no difference.

Hey I just found a pic of your car very neat car looks nice as! Saw it in a forum about xf phase. And that's what you should do make a phase 7 your car would look sick with the full size flares with some those 18" snow flakes

fuckn repco and autobahn I have applied to get jobs there and every time I go there it seems I have to teach something when ever I'm looking for something. Such dumb f#cks work there and its the same old case people that know someone get the jobs there! not someone that is actually suited for the job..Walsh's auto in Cairns has the bastards on the shelf - go figure. Walked over the other day to 'order' a kit for my WW Stromberg and the old bloke goes - no need to young fella (I'm over 40 and look like it - so that's how old he was) I'll get the one off the shelf. walks out the back and comes back with the correct kit. First go. Fukn unbelievable - try getting that at repco - autobarn...
My mechanic spends half his day f#cking around with wrong orders sent from places like repco..
I went to a super cheap, a autobahn and repco last Sunday looking for a thermostat for a rb25 engine they all say "what kind of car what date and year is it. And all of em just didn't know what rb25 engine is and none of em had one in stock! Its the same getting bits for my Cleveland they don't even know what kind engine it is or what's it out of. I say "do you have a cleveland inlet gasket?" They say "whaaats a ClEvElAnD? Whaaat cAr is it!" F#ck I hate going there. And there attitudes are sh$t which tops it off

Thanks Gav for your reply, I might have to do one of them. I'm trying avoid hanging down in the boot to long as I get the worst back spasms.

Yeah the dry ice will be to hard as I have cut out bits so there holes for the ice to fall through and I want it all off the walls too.
-
If your going to go with flares get the full size ones! The smaller size ones look weird. If you have the scoop and wing you need the flares. Don't worry about skirts though its to much and the race cars didn't use em. And put a xe phase 6 front bar on. Phase 6 horizontal scoop would flow with a xg grill too. Finished would look sick. Any tips on how to get rid of all that rubber crap in the rear quarters that's suppose to prevent rust. Want all gone so I can weld in sections.
