the whole aerpro setup looks ok ,,

bottom slots could be useful as USB ports ..I want the Kayan unit in my fg 50th tho ,,,,
” birthday soon love ,,,,,,,hint hint “
I don’t think you’d go wrong either way hey, but looking at them side by side I’d say the Kayan is a slightly better looking unit and the screens definitely bigger which is a plus. -

It is made to fit single din or double din hole and screen is adjustable to suit console hole. ( Has filler for extra din hole if needed).
That's what this is.....
It will wire to EVERYTHING, and the looms are included.
It will do all your car's functions including steering wheel controls etc.
You don't need CD/DVD. Stream music or video from your phone.
Has 2 USB, one for car play etc, one for music input, plus micro USB.
Mic for voice activated functions.
Can even do Park assist.

Hey Jack,I like that little not normal falcon beast you got there!
Do the Atoto kits have Bluetooth? I’ve never heard of them, but they sound alright from what your saying, I’ll have to do my home work on them.

Park brake on
pull the shifter back to neutral or drive
remove the screw in the front
pull the shift knob up ,,
grab the knob “ no jokes , we are grown ups “
Prize the shift knob With a screwdriver to one side ,, think it’s from the right side ,, outwards ,,
it”ll pop out ,,
up on the inside of the now vacant hole ,,
there’s a screw ,,,take it out ,,
are you finishing it off with the chrome quadrant as well ,?
Bit of a belated thanks, but cheers for the explanation dex.

Why do you say that dex?For what reasons would you say the Kayan is a better option? Have you had personal experience with either?
Genuinely curious to know as I’m considering upgrading the bf mklll wagon steza.

Well in case anyone was interested, I found out a little info.
According to inter web research the kit was made by USC who went bust many years ago and the moulds may have been purchased by Fibremaster.
See post 22 at the bottom of this page https://fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=54208When you search fibremaster https://www.google.com.au/search?q=fibermaster&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-au&client=safari the web link takes you to SSV website, so I’ve contacted SSV via email today to try my luck

Hey guys, I’ve purchased one of the eBay chrome inserts for the 4 speed auto shifter knob on my BFmk3 and NFI how to get the old one off???
I can see there is a screw inside underneath holding it in but can’t work out how to get in there.
If anyone has replaced there’s and has some advice for me that would be greatly appreciated.
I posted I Ford forums and got a reply to remove the shifter button, but I’m worried I’m starting to damage the leather trying to leaver out from the top.
any ideas?

You'll also find Alpha recently packed up shop and moved to Qld - fairly sure they reopened up there but not 100% sure. And i haven't really been around for years either, so that makes sense, at least i was on the right track.
Cheers for clearing that up Chris.

That’s very similar, but if it’s the one on the blue Ute your after Steve, it’s the phase autos millennium Falcon bar.

I've just had a look in the build thread gerg and he mention in there that front are 0.

Edit:

I wonder how he'd go with getting the esp gold colour? I've already bought two cans of the gold paint from global trim too.

Thanks for the reply gerg.
I don't think i'll bother clear coating the polished lips i'll just leave them and polish regularly.

Got a few questions for those with more experience than I.
What's the best way to go about stripping the snowies, sand blasting, soda blasting, or something else?
Also what primer is best to use on the alloy? I'll pick up some plastic primer for the new caps. What clear coat do people recommend to finish over the gold? And paint first, machine lips second is the way to go yeah?

Ok cool, thanks Dale thats what i thought you meant.

What about an on car pic from a bit of distance?
So what were they originally ea or xe/f ghia?
Also is it just the angle/light or is the paint colour slightly different on the caps and wheels?

Dale
Sorry Dale, are you saying the repro caps don't actually sit flush on some genuine esp wheels? Or that even the original ford caps did not sit flush on some of the wheels?

CHESTNUTXE reacted to this -
Bit of thread mining here, but is it correct to say that if i was to paint up a set of ea or xf ghia snowies in esp gold and purchase a set of esp repro caps form ebay that said caps wont sit flush with the wheel face?
I want to make up a set but don't want them to look dodgy...
