i think i found the thread you were talking about deankdx.

looks like i could fit the xf sender into the xh tank.

i have a source for an xh tank so might get it and have a play.

cool, this is what i was hoping for.

the reason i wanted in tank was simply for the noise, so the FPE240 could certainly be an option.

i was however looking at setting up for E85.

bugger, didn't know the xg/xh has a different kind of sender.

just want to throw this out there to see what people have done for fitting an electric fuel pump into an XF ute, to feed an AU engine.

at the moment i'm thinking of fitting an XH fuel tank. does anyone know if this is a direct fit.

or any other other ideas are most welcome.

hey guys, anyone know what sort of power the standard 4.0 sohc au crank can handle.

also, did the 168 kW or the XR6 engine have a stronger crank.
