  1.

    • Tough phenolic resin
    • Zinc phosphate
    • 24"-long tube with conical nozzle reaches in .......sounds like a night at Helga's House of Pain. (errr........so I've been told)
Looks good, what could possibly go wrong. ?? Can you get that here?? Not sure if you can post aerosols overseas.

POR15 is good stuff, trying to remember a cheaper product I have used on motorbike fuel tanks....... brain dead, old fart.

I don't know if you can get it locally? I found it while searching for something else...

I think if you used this and taped it to a coat hanger wire to be able to direct it, and use one of those inspection cameras http://bestcamerareview.us/kysee-unseen-inspection-camera/

You would be able to seal around the air vent area pretty well....?

  2. As i said, not as easy as it seems to do a good tap job

Firstly as said need to use the right drill bit

Also you need to use cutting oil (not any lube) and need to know when to pull the tap out to clean and go again

Sharpness of the tap is another variable

Its a bit of an art form which im not good at myself

Helicoil seems to be the last resort

Also you will find when drilling most holes it will open up to .1mm bigger than than size your drilling... Even more so if your using a portable/cordless drill... So for M10 tap I would use an 8.4mm drill.

Probably too late now, but food for thought...

  3. I know it's too late to reply now mate but I would take a rim into a tyre joint and show them the hub of the rim and ask them what type of nuts you need to buy and tell them that they are going on a ford and they should sell you the appropriate type. Good luck

Cheers mate, I ended up finding the right ones today :)

  4. They definitely look great, no doubt about it... but will the back spacing cause me any issues? I'd hate to spend that sort of cash and have them rub on the guards or worse...?

Front wheels have a back spacing of 4.5 inches

Rear wheels have a back spacing of 4 3/4 inch
