Continuing on from sorting out my suspension. What should I replace nolathane/superpro and what should I replace rubber??
-
So what's the go with hitting bump stops? I feel like I'm bottoming out over everything -.- I've got s/L king springs and Monroe short travel shocks I replaced the bump stops with some earlier model falcon nolathane ones, it's slightly better I've heard about cutting the bump stops and cutting the panel and actually moving the bump stops up?

I think I'll lower the upper control arm And replace the ball joints on the upper arm, any brands to look for? That won't bind with the height it is?

Ball joints for Xf genuine ford or aftermarket?
Squid replied to mattymc's topic in Steering, Suspension and Brakes
I want to replace my upper ball joints, Hopefully TRW from repco, do i need to check the actual ball joint for travel? Maybe take this photo in? Having S/L springs and Koni shocks! -
I've had water leaking onto my feet when it rains heavily, or when I clean it with the high pressure sprayer! Any tips on where it could be coming from?
-
Woops, I meant the Wrong shocks! Also, I've got koni's on the way
-
Repco are going to credit me for the wrong springs
-
I found this in my under dash travels I'm guessing a Bluetooth speaker of some sort, that I didn't put there

So after cleaning it out with the air compressor I found some lovely rust holes Water was still dripping through, even though it seems pretty solid with only surface rust on the drivers side

That's the ones

I can get some for $400 off eBay?

Thanks everyone for your help!! I'll go with the koni's and maybe some spacers and we'll be all sweet!! Then maybe the Shelby drop! I back to Repco today to sort out the shocks that they gave me being wrong! They're giving me a credit (even though they've be used slightly) which is great!

Thanks!!!

I think I found the problem. I got the 15-3101+ which states that they're not for lowered suspension... Bloody Repco. They're normally good to me
-
Ill take that as a yes

82-1742SP4 This is the part number for some koni's, Someone back me up here before I spend money on the wrong things!

Those videos are awesome! Makes more sense, so by getting new hydraulic shocks, I should be sweet! And maybe a bump stop trim!
-
So by doing the above? And changing or not changing shocks?
-
What do you mean by damper? I'm still trying to understand all this

If i do this, will i need to cut the bump stops? And should i still drive it like it is? just to work and back?
