Hey guys, Just got a brand new 350 Holley, brand new intake manifold and new gas mixer on my crossflow and its running like shit. I'm not really a mechanic guy but the mechanic that put it on for me took the choke out of the carby, because it didn't fit with the gas mixer? Also, driving home from yesterday on gas, the gas converter froze..? And then when I switched to petrol and it was backfiring.. And it's a bastard to start, actually I can hardly start it.. Help? Any ideas?

Got her back today, new sender in the dizzy, starts 1st time, runs a bit rough when she's cold but glad if starts well now!

Found out that there wasn't enough flow of coolant (obvious) And the sender in the dizzy was shot Should be good tommorow !!

Cheers for your help guys! I though that the gas had something to do with coolant issues. I've rang them and some is coming to have a look, and if they can't get it started then its getting a free tow back to their garage. This is the 4th mechanic in my area that I've taken her to and no one has done a good job.. It's be so much easier if I just had more mechanical knowledge! I'm pissed off about it, because it should just run with the new set up!

I'm gonna, I'd thought I'd ask if any had any quick fixes!

After much annoyance, found that my carby is shagged -.- <br />It runs really rough when you first start it (petrol or gas) and will stall without a bit of throttle.. But is better once its warmed up.<br />Anyway, I can get a recon carby from sprints for 340 but I was wondering whether it'd be worth putting a Holley 350 or something in it instead? <br />(Newbie)

I just want a new carby already...<br />It's kinda embarrassing when your car stalls three times to get out of the car park at work

So my wagon got pin striping down the sides and on the bonnet and its peeling in places and I want to get rid of it.<br />But where it has peeled the paint is darker? <br />Help?

Anything is better than the stock carby that I've got at the moment that hardly runs my dang falcon!
