Well as some of you know my old car was shortened thanks to a wall at heathcote.
But thanks to Dave and all the time he spends on stalkbook I just purchased a new beacon. I will pick it up this week then the fun begins again. Here are some pics of it from stalkbook
So it's a 2 owner car and looks to be in great nick so I'm a very happy man ATM

The cylinder head has no marking on the sides of it but it has hf-2 on top of the head... Haven't measured what size the valves are but they are brand new..Yea I live near adelaide so it's a fair way...ahaha..
Dude it's not that far to drive for that motor I have a engine that pro250(Dave) built and it is a very strong motor and didn't cost the earth.

Thanks Tony and NZXD. I'm starting to get my head around the speedway thing, the sport must send people broke, the amount of carnage every round and they have to fix it all hahahaha. We will see what gains in power these changes will make this weekend, I'm off to see if I can do a simple way of putting a radius on the carb top, will let you know how I go.
One thing my dad used to say was"what's a good way to make a small fortune motor racing???? Start with a large one"

42.... I'd have thought that was an easy one to work out
no it will only be 7 cause you forgot to divide it by the number of spanners in a sidchrome tool set

Rust will be your biggest thing to look for but like most cars the rust can be fixed
Check the boot floor pull out the spare as they rust in there
As stated above the top of guards and around the rear windscreen where the bootlid closes
Around the screens front and back roof gutters also
Sills get bad to but hey it can all be fixed
And yes you can have sex in one i also lost my virginity in one but it was a wagon so it was easier
And they are a lighter than a falcon with the same engine
