Is the plunger the little spike that sits inside and is on the spring of the solenoid? Cut that off? So its not blocking flow? What does it actually do though?

Still got the 8 pulse transducer available?

Ive taken a few photos but the forum is limiting the size of them to 0.02MB!? You cant make it out at that size? ...coolant staying full? Do you mean the coolant fluid reservoir ? Its not full...could that be a problem?

Theres an XF one online now for $40 so that might be worth saving time tracing wires, ill have a think. Im in Sydney... Yeah, the tooth increase is an nice idea (it is a 19 tooth). Ill get time on Saturday to have a go. What does the plastic gear actually connect to? Straight to the transmission but how?
