My MSD Dizzy cap is the same, it seems to wear that centre contact quite quickly. The original Bosch Dizzy cap used to last forever.

Nah 18 idle and another 10 at 3k ish total 28. Yeah that's I thought when I saw the oil on the gaskets.

Something was up that day they had to knock 2 deg out of the base. Normally it runs 18 and 10 but it was not liking it, so it was changed to 16 and 10. Today When I was changing the manifold, the gasket had not sealed and was sucking oil in to the intake ports so I'm Hoping that was the cause of the pinging.

Also here is the Dyno sheet its lower than the original but Im now running a 9 inch diff, in the original it was a Borg Warner same ratio. So the Holley got me back to where I was before the 9 inch, show how much more the 9 inch taxes. *Edit original is in HP it made 310 Kw @ando76 yeah i see what you mean its better in this one.

Thought I would throw up a couple of pics showing the height difference between the Air gap and the TFC. As I could never find them. Note in this the carbie pad is flat on the TFC where on the Air gap its on the angle

Thanks for your input Gregust yeah its not bad on the street, it wipes the smile from cocky 6 litre GM owners. Air filter was removed for the run but I haver not installed the TFC yet that gain was carbie only. Going to install the TFC today.

Still did not make power any higher in the rev range. Done by 6K.

Went to the Dyno today, the Ultra Hp added 17 KW back to back against the Edelbrock performer. Both are 750 cfm.

Nah have not had a chance yet, carbie had a whistle when I installed it took a bit of stuffing around to get rid of it. It has a Idle bypass screw in the centre with four holes and was whistling through it, bit of a different setup to the Edelbrock. When you crack the throttle this one sounds the Business.

@Xcsedan Its a Pavtek custom cam for that type of package, Lakeside Automotive dyno'd it I will take it again next week if I get time and See what I lost installing the new diff, also will add a spacer. Dont get me wrong I am happy with it even know I will always want more power, its just the way it drops off below 6K with a solid. Yeah they look like 3v's they are supposed to to higher air speed than the 2v's. I'm only asking this as I thought the cam would peak higher than 6k even with the extra cubes, to me it kinda defeats the purpose of a solid cam.

Yaah I had looked at that as it may be an inch lower than the tfc. Also weiand have a new updated xcellerator, had the original one when I had the 4v's and it was good.

My comp is 10.8. Not really worried about low end as you cannot cruse below 2300 rpm anyway, and accelerating under 3300 she pings anyway. But once its over 4000 it gets real, so its a top end engine anyway.

@ Slydog Its only running Chi 2v's 190 type, so they will be holding it back a bit,they are as cast except cleaned up and matched to the Felpro intake gasket Edelbrock performer 750 carbie been told to get a holley but I want to try one before spending the 700. Having troube getting a drop base air cleaner to clear the two fuel in let lines on the Edelbrock. Do you know if Jarrods heads are 2V?
