All done, just need to get under the car and swap the oil pressure switch/sender Sent from my HTC_0P6B using Tapatalk
-
Ah now that's alot simpler then what I had in my head cheers
-
So I think I realise I was over thinking this, I literally just need the sender right? The wire would already be there in my new xf connected to a switch and I swap the switch with the sender?
-
Cheers
-
cool thanks, Engines already out of it so hopefully I can figure which wire it is

I'll have to wait and see what you achieve I'm looking at a similar build

Looks good nath, What's ppls thoughts on black wheels with brown interior. I'm not a huge fan of the fake woodgrain look but think black on brown would look a bit odd. Anybody got a pic of a black wheel in brown xf interior?
-
Out of curiosity Anybody got a rough idea of what hp/torque figures and 1/4 times the build nath posted original would pull?

Yep no hope of that only welding I've done was an hour of tack welding in year 8

Hey chaps I noticed that an earlier owner has just used a nut and washer as spacers for the shock tower. Is this good enough or is it gonna make things worse or too dodgy? Other words will it do? Cheers

Cheers I'll have a poke around and see what I can come up with

Will take some pics this arvo, and ye that's what I thought figured it gave space but no support. I'm right in saying no company makes these spacers right?

Anybody got any info on how the Ed hand brake cable all connects up? I'm stumped
-
Hey guys hoping u guys have some suggestions coz I'm fkn stumped... Just changed the wheel bearings for the Ed diff I've just fitted to my xf, anyway for some reason the drivers side axle doesn't seem to go all the way in. The axle sits out slightly and it isn't in snug (may b coz it's not all the way in). I have tried the shorter axle in both sides for curiosity sake and it fits snug and how I would have expected it too. Axles is in as far as it can go it turns drive shaft wit is still poking out a little bit Thanks

Awesome sounds straight forward and it's do able with engine still in? I should have all the parts coz my old xf come parts car has power steering was just gonna replace seals n shit and swap over, could I just swap columns aswell or is that a prick to do? -
Hi Guys Just wondering if anything needs to be done to fit 20x10 on the rear and 20x8 on the front of an xf? or would it be a straight fit? Cheers
