gerg 10,781 Posted July 21 Gold snowies with polished rimsWent to Jeep style Soft 8 steelies 16x 8 +10, 215/65 front, 16x 8 -10, 235/60 rear. Would not recommend as they are heavy and work the shocks hard (unsprung weight). If I could afford them, I'd go with Basset NASCAR wheels (much lighter)Got some repro Ford centre caps and did them in a dirty gold. White tyre lettering is a pain in the arse (just done with a paint pen) as if you kiss a kerb or roundabout, you have to do it all over again.Sent from my CPH2197 using Tapatalk 2 2 Free.51, Loonar, deankdx and 1 other reacted to this

Let me know when the Ute is on the market but I would guarantee based on the reaction I got last time there would be a 1984 S-Pack sedan on the market to replace it and I might be sleeping in the back of the Ute. Mr Polson 5,243 Posted July 30 Polished snowflakes with no clear coat look amazing in good light when clean.XE & XF had machined faces with clear coat from factory. E series were painted grey I believe? Snowflakes have unique wheel nuts too.15" x 7" from memory? 1 Free.51 reacted to this
Mr Polson 5,243 Posted July 30 Cheviot Hurricanes. This set has been (as far as I know) uniquely machined so the spokes don't reach the outer edge, leaving a nice lip and deeper appearance. 14" x 7" with 235/65/R14 Radial T/A tyres. 1 Free.51 reacted to this

Mr Polson 5,243 Posted July 30 ^^^^^^ To lazy to scrub the blue off the lettering! I was going for colour coding with the body hahaYou'd think the tyrefitters would've done that but I guess because I said no tire shine they didn't bother
