Kon 10 Posted July 12, 2021 I took the old girl for a drive yesterday and noticed the taco was not counting Km , it’s an XF S PAC Auto EFI , would the issue be in the Transmission or the dash cluster . Cheers in advance for info . 1 Outback Jack reacted to this
Outback Jack 6,352 Posted July 12, 2021 The odometer gear has probably lost a tooth mate. Its an instrument panel out job. There's a tutorial I did on replacing the gearsets on an XG ute.Could be speedo gear on the transmission....just check it's alright.Biggest tip- Only reset your odometer while stationary. Doing it while moving will snap a tooth out of the plastic gear.Sent from my S21 using Tapatalk

deankxf 20,266 Posted July 12, 2021 if the speedo is reading speed, but the odometer not counting how far you went, it will be a gear in the speedo. if the speedo isn't working, i'd be checking the wires on the speedo sender to see if broken(haven't seen a gear damaged there, but the sender wires break) 1 Kon reacted to this
