Dom 2 Posted May 29, 2020 in before wheel spacers are illegal (which i know) has anybody put wheel spacers on the rear of a series ll AU XR8 ute so that they arent so inboard of well body ute sides and did you go with 1.5 inches or 2 inches if so, did you have to roll the rear guards to stop any scrubbing issues my ute has stock tickford rims but lowered suspension (2 inch lower )
Defective 1,692 Posted May 29, 2020 First off, you want hub adapters, not spacers. Adapters bolt on, spacers slip on. Not a Ute but I ran 50mm spacers on the rear of my Au ghia with zero issues. Another option, if you want to keep the tickford look is track down some e series offset au xr rims. Will do the same thing. scottly 475 Posted May 29, 2020 Smart move defective using the pre au wheels, tickford xr8 copies. Probably the best option
