Panko 2,472 Posted November 21, 2019 Hi Guys, simple question. Is an early E series (EA/B) flywheel the same as an XF crossflow flywheel (84DA block) Cheers 1 CHESTNUTXE reacted to this

I maybe pedantic, but i figure if the rest of the engine and driveline, inc. gearbox and diff is new/recoed, why not start with everything new? so if you know anywhere i can purchase brand new flywheels, that would also help

CHESTNUTXE 7,260 Posted November 21, 2019 YEAH ,you have got more chance of bying a new e series than the older flywheel size but not impossible
Mustardxf2 310 Posted November 24, 2019 NPC do a lightened flywheel for the crossflow, which I believe is a 4l flywheel drilled to suit crossflow, accepts 10.5” clutch with 6 bolt pattern and dowels instead of 3 bolts. Mustardxf2 310 Posted November 25, 2019 RNF44 is the flywheel part number, you’ll need to make them aware that it willBe bolting to a crossflow.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
