Xe hydraulic conversion

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

I have a XE FALCON. Original 250xflow now dropping in a Clevo. It's got a factory 4speed singlerail. I brought a kit from Rare Spares part number F2271. It doesn't seem to fit/ work. What am I doing wrong? Do i need any other extra bits?

Thanks

Let's see... I did this exact conversion and you need:

Hydraulic pedal box (or swap pedal shafts)
Hydraulic pedal
Master cylinder
Clutch line
Slave cylinder
Hydraulic fork

What isn't working for you?

Hey mate,

As i mentioned i brought a kit in which i was told bolts on to the factory pedal box. The pedal is a hydrolic one. I have master slave and fork. Have a look at rare spares in search tyre in F2271. It will come up.

So what would I be doing wrong? Have you done your one?

Just can't mount the pedal on. I'm not at the shop atm. But i have someone who has over 30 years experience doing it and he can't seem to get it to fit. I will see if i can ask him and get back to you.

if you start with an auto pedal box it would fit easier..

i have a feeling the shaft won't fit due to the others having a flat on the shaft and you'd need to file it (the hole in the pedal box) out to round.

not sure if the cable manual pedal box has the pivot in the way? might need to cut it off?(if so, i'd find an auto one, and sell the manual cable one, as they are getting rarer now due to cracking)
