gerg 10,871 Posted April 19, 2020 Gotta try it, 12 degrees is very conservative and might actually cause run-on from making the chamber too hot. Timing doesn't directly affect run-on, as you are cutting ignition when switching it off anyway. Running on is caused by hot spots in the chamber making it act like a diesel. They actually call it "dieseling".
