stibbsXR8 0 Posted January 26, 2019 I’ve got a 289 Windsor block that I’m putting edelbrock 5023 heads on. The instructions say to drill a 1/8” hole into the block for steam holes as they are in a different location on the new heads. Is this something that I can do myself or is it a job for a machine shop?
judgetread 754 Posted January 26, 2019 Steam hole is a misleading name tbh, its more like a vent hole to let trapped air out. You can do it yourself, just gotta be careful its 1/2inch thick there and can snap a drill quite easily... 2 gerg and deankxf reacted to this
