winton 399 Posted February 11, 2019 Yeah talked to one of the main suppliers for king springs recently and they were useless. I'll probably call past the self serve wreckers to measure it myself when I have time, just thought someone on here would have a spring out they could take 5 min to measure, guess not. gerg 10,871 Posted February 11, 2019 Anyone? I have what I think are stock V8 springs. Measured 95mm ID. Sent from my CPH1607 using Tapatalk 1 winton reacted to this
SPArKy_Dave 8,867 Posted February 11, 2019 Early Mustang front springs are the same also. There are quite alot of spring length choices available, when you encompass XK-XG, and include Mustangs too. BUT At the end of the day, the front guard radius's are cut quite high on x-series. (XD/XE are cut 10-15mm lower than XF/XG) Hence they run out of suspension travel, at any height that looks decently low. edit - and Cortina's are just as bad in that regard, I believe. gerg 10,871 Posted February 11, 2019 Best way to counter that is to fill the guard with maximum legal amount of tyre diameter and width. Play with offsets front and rear to try and even them out. Sent from my CPH1607 using Tapatalk
