SHOCKER BOTTOMING OUT (Danger)

after seeing @Crazy2287 for sale post for decent shocker tower spacers it reminded me of a ute i bought once with chopped springs and  cut down or removed bump stops(can't remember, had both before)

link to the for sale/testing thread below to test YOUR car.

 

My brother had bought a low LTD that had cracked shocker towers where the upper control arm bolted in once, this could also have been a result of bottoming out other parts of the suspension.. so if you are going lower, even just on lows it pays to do some checks. there are some ball joints that don't have as much movement as others .. have a read of the sticky threads in suspention for that also in this suspension and brakes forum section
