Motivat-ed 7 Posted April 30, 2013 Hey guys ive just started another painting cashie and this time its a XG Ute, I have to remove the rear bumpers so I can paint them also with the window trim. Firstly how do I remove the rear bumpers? Second how do I remove the window trim without breaking it or twisting it? Cheers Brett
Lord_fahrquhar 2,580 Posted April 30, 2013 Rear bumperettes are easy. four bolts under the back end per side, and a side bolt on each end. The windows are bonded in, so mask it up instead
Motivat-ed 7 Posted April 30, 2013 Alright Thanks for that. I had a feeling i may need to mask up the windows.
Motivat-ed 7 Posted June 26, 2013 another question. For the same car, how do the side mirrors come off?
EgoXF 2,026 Posted June 26, 2013 im pretty sure some of the door trims have to come off to remove the mirrors, but you can take the front of the mirror off (the painted part) because im pretty sure they screw on from underneath. correct me if i'm wrong
