The one on my sons 81 xd 4.1 looks like it is the original and I am not sure if it's working properly. bear351c 10,269 Posted September 8, 2018 They dont do much, only about 4-6 PSI of pressure, you can plumb up a line into a jar of fuel, and pump it by hand. If no fuel comes out through the "arm hole" the diaphragm should still be good. If it gets wet at all, its prob got a ruptured diaphragm, and needs a newie. Not sure if you can still find an overhaul kit, for these. Especially in Kiwi country. May have to buy a whole pump.... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
