WINDSOR SMALLBLOCK TALK

Recommended Posts

A bit late now but yes, you just tap the valve stem seals on. Use a pin punch with no burrs on itand use it to guide it on straight otherwise it won’t seal for long
I painted the balancer and did a mega clean up ready for the o27e25ffac56de52b307ecf26b8b5b8d38.jpg

hey whats the go with the ed sump it has the dipstick coming out the side then up and around the exhaust,as where older windsors have a normal dipstick, does my block have a hole for the older style dipstick ? or do you drill one or just stick with the ed style one ?

Ok cheers for that

E3AE-A3A is the roller Windsor cam gear from the Cloyes kit. According to Google.
Cloyes was apparently standard fitment from Ford USA.

just a few questions if i was to fit my single rail behind this engine is there a 50oz 164 tooth flywheel which is 11 inch i think, cause i see many 157 tooth 50 oz models available ? what would be the best route ,i assume using the v8 rail bellhousing.

I went down this route, you can get a 164t 50oz flywheel, I got mine from summit racing. they fitted 164t 50oz to broncos and f150 with the roller 302/351w.
